Local bus transportation
From the city centre and your hotels take the city bus number 6 (City Hotel, Park Hotel) or 8 (M Hotel) and get off at the bus stop at the big white Mercator building on the left side (but you continue on foot there to the right, a minute's walk through the park where the School of Economics and Business is located). You can also take one of the many taxis waiting at the hotels.
Conference room equipment and computer access
The conference rooms are very well equipped. The SEB LU provides computers and projectors for MS Office PowerPoint presentations in all rooms, and free wireless Internet access is available throughout the SEB LU (select “Public” Wi-Fi, no password is required). To avoid problems with PPT presentations, we note that MS Office 2007 software is installed on all the computers in the presentation rooms. Therefore, please ensure your presentation is adjusted to the Office 2007 format (*.ppt or *.pptx extension). If your presentation is in any other format, includes any special effects or is made on any other OS platform (i.e. Apple Mac OSx), please bring your own laptop. It is possible to connect your laptop to our projectors in all rooms.
For e-mail and Internet access there is always the library awaiting you – from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. there are computers available on the ground floor and in the underground corridor.
