Module 3: Customer Experience

Customer experience is one of the key areas that executives should digitally transform and to take advantage of a major change in customers’ behaviors. New technologies and analytical possibilities are enabling organizations to understand customers in more detail and to further personalize the customer experience. Nevertheless, companies should promote their brands more effectively through the digital media. However, not everything that is digital is suitable or understandable for the customers, and therefore user experience should always be considered.

This module will help you envisioning the digital future of your business by focusing on:

Module 4: Business Model Innovation

In today’s business environment the ability to develop innovative business models is crucial to long-term competitiveness. The dynamic and complex market environment in which companies operate require innovation beyond products and processes. The innovation of business models is the key element to transform innovative products into unique customer value. This workshop will introduce you to the theoretical basis and methodical tools you need for Business Model Innovation. Our goal is to open your horizons to new possibilities and opportunities through business model innovation geared towards sustainable business performance.

On the first day workshop will take you on a journey towards innovation in your organization with the following highlights:
  • Lectured by an expert in Business Model theory and practice
  • Hands-on learning experience based on case studies
  • Introduction to a real world implementation methodology

Module 5: Change Management and Digital Leadership Skills

Faculty of Economics, Ljubljana, Slovenia

In module 5, academy participants will engage in a workshop focused around digital leadership and change management skills. Participants will experience an online simulation about leading change and discuss a case study about leading digital transformation. Both simulation and case study analysis will be debriefed with selected, evidence-based insights from the recent global research.

Topics covered will be the following:
  • Change agents skills: Power and influence, timing and pacing of the change process, relational skills and networking, change context
  • Leadership skills during digital transformation: Digital leadership mind-set, collaborative skills, leading the digital transformation journey, crossing silos, outsourcing the inspiration (prosocial motivation - from customer insight to employee engagement)
Preparation required:
  • Register for the online simulation
  • Read up assigned case study and answer assigned questions
  • Bring along laptop to the module
