Aims of the course

To learn and understand both the historical changes in the global economic system and the key features of contemporary world economic order with the emphasis on the operation of the multilateral economic organizations in relation to the challenges of the recent globalization processes.
To understand the differences in the development level of nations and to recognize the complexity of current issues in global economy, e.g. inequalities, global environment protection, smart (global) transformations of the economy (industry 4.0)
