Intercultural communication in the Italian business environment
Aims of the course
The course is intended for students who areinterested in getting acquainted with the
communication and culture basics in the Italian
business world. The students acquire typical
phrases in both general and business Italian, gain awareness of the cultural differences between the Italian and Slovene business environments and improve their use of
the language for specific purposes user as a person with intercultural competence.
Course syllabus
The dimensions of intercultural business communication, facts and statistics about Italy,business contacts between Slovenia and Italy
with special focus on intercultural differences and similarities, basic and typical vocabulary, phrases and functions in both general and business Italian.
