Aims of the course

Considering the fact that the legal branch of market law regulates the market as a set of relationships and processes, as well as the direct regulation of the market, the learning objectives of the course Law of Markets and Trade are mainly focused on the subject of market activities of companies and other entities in the relevant market. Students of economic and business studies are familiarized with the basic elements of legal regulation of marketing, from unfair advertising and all its manifestations to the broader regulations of the prohibition of restriction of free competition. Students acquire the necessary complementary knowledge of the tools for a successful appearance on the market in terms of sales promotion, advertising, etc. The basic objectives are aimed at understanding the limits of legal market behavior and the legal consequences of improper or illegal behavior of market participants.
