Organizational and Legal Issues in Sport

Aims of the course

- Understanding of the organization of sport on the international and national level.
- Understanding of the program substructure of sports, fundamental organizational acts in the field of sport, and the evaluation of different sports.
- Understanding of public vs. private financing of sport, and the approaches to financing different types of sport organizations in Slovenia.
- Understanding of the fundamental legal acts in the field of sport on the international and national level.
- Understanding of different arrangements of the sport entities, foremost athletes’ and sport experts’ status.
- Understanding of the ways of resolving legal disputes in sport.
