Aims of the course
- To understand the objectives of the well-functioning financial intermediaries within the economy- To understand the role of bank monitoring and liquidity provision of financial intermediaries
- To be acquainted with the regulation of financial intermediaries, especially in the context of systemic risk prevention
- To understand basic types of financial systems
- To understand the impact of financial intermediaries on the macro economic position of the economy
