Socio-Economic Development and Contemporary Slovenia

Aims of the course

The course informs the students about the socio-economic and political history of Slovenia and the basic development tendencies in the economy, the society, the civilisation and the culture in Slovene territory. The acquired knowledge enables the student to understand better the present political, economic and cultural position of Slovenia in modern Europe. It also offers the historical and contemporary survey of local, regional, and national business practice.
