My school will not issue the final certificate before august. Will I miss the deadline for sending the documents?

Foreign citizens from non-EU countries and Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship with secondary school abroad must submit all supporting documents indicating the fulfilment of enrolment by 27 July 2020 at the latest. The candidates will be included in the selection procedure if they receive their final certificates after 20 July and the recognition decision by 20 August 2020.

Citizens of the Republic of Slovenia who completed their secondary education abroad and citizens of EU Member States:

• First deadline: Candidates who finish secondary school abroad must submit all the necessary documents by 6 July or 10 September 2020 at the latest. Candidates should send the required documents as soon as possible because the procedure of the recognition of foreign education can last up to two months from the day of submitting a complete application.
• Second deadline: Candidates must submit all the supporting documents during the Second Application Period (by 10 September 2020 at the latest) by registered post to the respectful Higher Education Application and Information Service.
• Deadline for filling still available enrolment slots: candidates must submit all the supporting documents with a printed and signed application during the Application Period (from 24 September to 6 p.m. on 25 September 2020) by registered post to the faculty or academy.

It is important that candidates submit their applications on time and inform the Higher Education Application and Information Service that their school will issue their final graduation certificate at a later date.
