The new graduate programmes offer graduates of the undergraduate (first-cycle) programmes the possibility to study any of the main areas of business and economics in greater depth. Within an individual programme, students can select a specialised study programme to adjust the content to their interests and needs even better. Each of the four programmes comprises four semesters (or two years), and the fourth semester is entirely dedicated to preparing the master’s thesis. The programme includes 15 classes and is worth 120 ECTS credits; that is, 60 credits per year or 30 credits per semester, with 30 ECTS credits for the master’s thesis. The programme requirements are structured so that, in addition to basic and methodological knowledge, students can also acquire knowledge in a selected area of study, and many electives are available that students can fill with courses at other faculties or universities in Slovenia and abroad. The new programmes make it possible to realise the ambition and desire for a more in-depth study of business and economics, as well as greater professional and academic qualifications.
