The Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana (FELU) was one of the first faculties in Slovenia to establish new internationally comparable programmes
at both undergraduate and graduate levels accredited under the 3+2 system. Students can thus choose to complete an undergraduate degree in three years, which
may be a higher professional degree (a programme in the Business School) or a university degree (a programme in the School of Business and Economics). After finishing
the three-year undergraduate programme, students can automatically directly enrol in one of the two-year master’s programmes.
The programmes are distinguished by the following new features: a large selection of course content; modern, effective, and practically-oriented working methods;
comparability with the best international schools of business (including the European Credit Transfer System: ‘ECTS’); a large number of courses taught in English;
opportunities for international student exchanges; a shorter period of study; and competitiveness with other graduates in the EU labour market.
With the new programmes and highest international teaching and research standards in a modern, creative environment, the Faculty offers the best conditions for students
to study and achieve their personal potential, providing graduates with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to immediately secure employment in Slovenia and
abroad.
At the undergraduate level, the faculty offers two different study programmes
University Degree - Business and Economics Programme
Professional Degree - Business Programme
