Rome Model United Nations 2016

I am an international student at the University of Ferrara, Ferrara, Italy starting from September 2015. Erasmus Mundus Euro-Asian Cooperation for Excellence and Advancement II gave me an opportunity to join the community of Erasmus students. In terms of my academic affairs, I major in International Law. Besides, I have a unique chance to deepen my knowledge in foreign language such as French and Italian.

With the help of the program, I figured out the opportunity of undertaking an on-the-job training (internship for senior students) at the Giovani nel Mondo Association, Rome. Giovani nel Mondo implements three massive programs, they are Rome Model United Nations, Rome Business Game and Rome Press Game. These involve over 30.000 students and young professionals in its activities from all over the world.

For this year, I acted as an intern in the international section at the association. Our team was very international as there were staff members from various countries. Along this, I have been appointed to serve as a Director in the RomeMUN Security Council Committee 2016 (Luiss Guido Carli University, Rome). Undoubtedly, internship at Giovani nel Mondo has taught me a lot in terms of professionalism since I have dealt with Rome Model United Nations Simulation - a diplomatic summation conducted by experts and professionals.

I am privileged to be involved in this activity and am grateful to the program for which I was selected as a finalist. Erasmus Mundus have changed minds and lives of many students across the globe and it has brought significant positive modifications into my life.
