Business Logistics studies offer concrete interdisciplinary skills, which are closely related to practice - the possibility of working on projects and visits to companies. It is distinguished by top lecturers, the possibility of study abroad and excellent employment opportunities.

Knowledge and skills acquired through studies in this programme

Business Logistics deals with the efficient integration of supply, production, storage and sales, enabling the product or service to be available in sufficient quantities, at the right place and at the appropriate time, with as low a total cost as possible, while ensuring an appropriate level of service to the consumer. The second-cycle Business Logistics programme in-depth develops the skills and knowledge of the logistics and supply chain management. It is also about the ability to cope with complex production and distribution systems and flows of goods, information and assets in companies.

Students are trained to work in the field of management of purchasing, sales, warehousing and production processes in companies. Thus, they acquire interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of business logistics management, optimization in logistics, supply chain digitalization, internal logistics, international business logistics and strategic challenges of Slovenian logistics.

Organizations / institutions / companies where employment is possible

You will be trained to work in the field of logistics management, warehouses, inventory management and planning and computerization and supply chain management. The acquired knowledge enables employment in production, trade and logistics companies, information technology companies and public sector organizations in the field of logistics.
