Curriculum Vitae
 Adriana Rejc Buhovac is a Full Professor of Management and Organization at the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana. Her primary areas of expertise are corporate sustainability, strategic management, and performance measurement and management control. She is a lecturer of Strategic Management (undergraduate and graduate levels, MBA), Corporate Social Responsibility (graduate level), and Sustainability Implementation (Executive Education).Dr. Rejc Buhovac co-authored a number of academic articles including “Managing Social, Environmental and Financial Performance Simultaneously” (Long Range Planning), “Solving the Sustainability Implementation Challenge” and “Why Nike Kicks Butt in Sustainability” (Organizational Dynamics). Together with Marc J. Epstein, she co-authored a recently published book ‘Making Sustainability Work: Best Practices in Managing and Measuring Corporate Social, Environmental, and Economic Impacts – Second Edition’ (2014, Greenleaf Publishing Ltd.; Berrett-Koehler Publishers Inc.). She has written four management accounting guidelines for the AICPA (New York) and the SMAC (Toronto) focusing on challenging performance measurement issues--“Evaluating Performance in Information Technology”, “Identifying, Measuring, and Managing Organizational Risks for Improved Performance”, “The Reporting of Organizational Risks for Internal and External Decision-Making” and “Performance Measurement of Not-for Profit Organizations”. She has contributed to different international monographs and conference proceedings and has served as a reviewer for international conferences or academic journals in her research areas. She is involved with various professional and academic associations. In addition to her research on the topic, Dr. Rejc Buhovac has worked with several organizations on strategy development, the evaluation of performance of the human resources function, the IT function, and on the implementation of strategic performance measurement systems. She coordinated the strategy development process at the FELU (FELU Strategy 2016-2020).
