Curriculum Vitae
Ana Oblak is a PhD student and teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics,University of Ljubljana (FELU). She received her master’s degree in marketing and technology management from the Faculty of Economics,University of Ljubljana. In her master thesis she studied determinants of loan growth in the boom-bust-recovery regime for the case of former Yugoslav countries. Her main research interest remains in the interaction between financial and real sector. Her doctoral dissertation is focused on the role of banking sector in accelerating the economic cycle. Taking into consideration the characteristics of banking sectors, regulation and policy measures the influence of banking sector on the indebtedness of non-financial corporations and household sector is studied. A comparative analysis covers more than 10 selected countries from the EU and the Balkan region.
