Curriculum Vitae
Anja Svetina Nabergoj (PhD, University of Ljubljana) is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University in Ljubljana in Slovenia where she teaches undergraduate and graduate entrepreneurship courses. Her main focus is developing and using design thinking methodology and adapting it for entrepreneurship courses and business school curriculum. She is also Lecturer at Stanford University in Hasso Plattner Institute of Design in the School of Engineering, where she teaches Executive Education programs and co-teaches class “Collaborating with the future: Launching Large-Scale Sustainable Transformations”, "Organizational Psychology of Design Thinking" and "Methods in System Thinking". In her work she focuses on helping individuals, teams and organizations build their creative confidence and reach innovation potential. She has been working with organizations in Europe and USA including Stanford Change Labs, Bill&Melinda Gates Foundation, JetBlue, Iddiction, Kolektor, Hypo group and others. She is also the founding member of Research as Design team at Stanford University that developed the curriculum for applying design thinking to scientific and scholarly research and teaching workshops to graduate students and faculty members. Her recent research focuses on design thinking, primarily in the context of entrepreneurship education and doctoral studies. She has contributed chapters to books published by Edward Elgar and Routlege and is publishing in scientific management journals, including European Management Journal.
