Curriculum Vitae
Jože Sambt holds Ph.D. in economics (University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics, 2009). He teaches Introductory Statistics, Research methods and techniques, Labour Economics and Economic Statistics. His research interests include relations and transfers among generations, demography, impact of demographic changes on long-term sustainability of public finances and labour economics. His list of publications includes numerous peer reviewed articles in journals and books, including one of the world's top scientific journals ‘Science’. During his career he has been involved in numerous national and international research projects on microsimulation models, long term sustainability of public finances, intergenerational transfers etc. At the moment he is leading Slovenian research team and being responsible for Work package 1 in European FP7 project AGENTA (http://www.agenta-project.eu/en/index.htm); he is also leading Slovenian team in international research project NTA (www.ntaccounts.org).
