Curriculum Vitae
Katja Zajc Kejžar is a full Professor at University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business. Her research interests encompass various aspects in international economics, European economic integration, global value chains, industrial restructuring and evolution. Katja obtained her doctoral degree from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She has been a visiting researcher at University of Bologna, Italy in 2015/2016; and guest lecturer at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, China; University of Rijeka, Croatia; University of Antwerp, Belgium; University of Warsaw, Poland. She has a bibliographical record of over 60 papers/book chapters including publications in high-ranked international journals, including Review of World Economics, The World Economy, Open Economies Review, Small Business Economics, The Journal of International Trade & Economic Development, Applied Economics. In between 2011-2013, she was chairing the Academic unit of International Economics and Business and coordinating the International Business Master Programme in 2017/2018. She has led and participated in several European Jean Monnet projects, projects of Slovenian research Agency and of China-CEE Institute. Currently, she is chairing the programme committee of 4th scientific China-CEE Conference on the topic of the “The Three C’s in China-CEE Relations: Culture, Connectivity and Creativity”. She is a founding member of ECSA (European Community Studies Association) Slovenia and currently acts as its vice president.
