Curriculum Vitae
Katja Zajc Kejžar is currently an Associate Professor in the Academic unit of International economics and business at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. Her research interests lie in international economics, European economic integration, industrial restructuring and evolution, economic growth, competitiveness and international business. She teaches courses on International economics, European economic integration, Economic integration processes and Risk management in international business. She holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Ljubljana. Her dissertation prepared in part during the study visit at European University Institute in Florence won “Olga Radzyner Award for Scientific Work on European Economic Integration”. She has published a number of papers in renowned international journals, including Review of World Economics, Open Economies Review, The Journal of International Trade & Economic Development, Applied Economics, Emerging Markets Finance and Trade. Since 2009 she has been a member of Editorial Board of scientific journal European perspectives and serves as ad-hoc referee to several international indexed scientific journals. In between 2011-2013 she served as the chair of Academic unit of International economics and business. Since 2011 she is a member of the Senate of Faculty of Economics. She is the vice president of ECSA (European Community Studies Association) Slovenia and currently leading European Jean Monnet project: “Understanding the potential of the EU-India Free Trade Agreement”.
