Curriculum Vitae
 Marko Jakšič is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. His area of expertise is Operations Management and Supply Chain Management, which are the topics he is lecturing on at the bachelor, the master level and MBA studies at the Faculty of Economics. Started as a student of Faculty of Physics, attended MScBA master program at Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, and obtained the doctoral degrees at Faculty of Economics and at Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, where he holds a position of a visiting researcher the School of Industrial Engineering. In his research work he focuses on the quantitative analysis of inventory management strategies in supply chains and as a result he has published papers in domestic and foreign journals. He is also active as a reviewer in several renowned journals and has given lectures at several universities, and talks at research and business conferences worldwide. He has worked on research and consulting projects on optimization of business processes in the field of managing inventories, production and procurement processes.
