Curriculum Vitae
 Mojca Marc is an associate professor in the Academic unit for management and organization at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia). She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in management accounting and economics of projects, including postgraduate courses at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. She also teaches at the Faculty of Economics, University of Rijeka and is a visiting scholar at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. Currently, she is a visiting professor at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering of Politecnico di Milano university. After her undergraduate studies in Economics at University of Ljubljana, she won the “Bank of Slovenia prize for excellence” for her undergraduate thesis on characteristics of crises in international finance. She has obtained a Master degree in Finance from University of Ljubljana and a PhD degree in Economics from University of Siena (Italy) in 2009. During her doctoral study programme at University of Siena, she was also a a visiting PhD student of Economics at Nuffield College, Oxford University (UK). Her research interests include organisational performance measurement and management, management control systems, and risk management systems. She has served as a member of WIPO expert panel on economic aspects of intellectual property in countries in transition in 2011. She has worked on many consulting projects for Slovenian companies since 2001. She was also involved in the EU Tempus project »Third-Cycle Doctoral Programme in Economics and Business« which successfully developed and implemented a doctoral program in economics and business at School of Economics and Business, University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina). Within an Erasmus project, she is developing an educational program for measuring the social rate of return on investment. She has been President of the SEB Editorial Board since 2013, a reviewer for several academic journals, and was recently appointed as one of two Editor-in-Chiefs of the Economic and Business Review.
