Curriculum Vitae
Polona Domadenik, Ph.D., is Full Professor in Economics and a member of the Academic Unit of Economics at the FELU. In 2013 she became vice-dean at the FELU. Her research interests include various topics in the fields of microeconomic theory, managerial economics, applied microeconometrics and labour economics. During her academic career she has participated in numerous research projects financed by the Slovenian government (basic research projects and targeted research projects), GDN, plus the PHARE and other EU programmes. Moreover, she was a visiting researcher at WDI in Ann Arbor and the IMF in Washington. In 2009/2010 she received a Fulbright research award and spent a year as a researcher at the University of California in Davis. Her list of publications includes several articles on issues related to the post-privatisation restructuring of firms in transition economies (Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia), and various topics from labour economics.
