Polona Svetlin Gvardjančič is a Lecturer in Business German at the Faculty of Economics University of Ljubljana. She holds a PhD in didactis of foreign languages. She designed and developed various beginners and advanced level German courses for students. She is author of two textbooks for Business German (Wirtschaftsdeutsch I and II) and of various teaching materials for Business German seminars. She also works as translator. Her main research areas are methodology and didactics of foreign language teaching, with special attention to language for special purposes (LSP), learner autonomy and alternative teaching methods.She is a member of the Slovene Association of LSP teachers (SDUTSJ).
