Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Tomaž Turk is Full Professor and researcher at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana. He holds courses on information systems management, development of information systems and software solutions, economics of information technology, electronic communications, and business simulations. Currently his research work includes themes like information technology adoption, economics of information technology, communication networks management and Internet society issues. He has participated in several national and international projects, he publishes papers in journals like Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Telecommunications Policy, Computer Standards and Interfaces, Mathematics and Computers in Simulation, International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics, and Computer Communications. He was the Vice Chair of the ESF research project COST Action 298 ‘Participation in the Broadband Society’. He was the president of the language section of the Slovenian INFORMATICS Association (2007-2019). From 2013 to 2017 he was a Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs at SEBLU, currently he is the head of Academic Unit for Business Informatics and Logistics.
