Ding Zhonghui is a teaching assistant of international business at School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana since 2018, department of International Economics and Business. She began her career as a Chinese volunteer teacher at the Confucius Institute Ljubljana in 2012. She has been Chinese head teacher responsible for quality control in teaching Chinese language and culture since 2014. She was also responsible for business culture in-company training as well as individual consultation for business community. By living and working closely between Slovenia (EU) and China, she has developed strong capabilities in understanding cross-culture similarities and differences through the “lens” of language. Her main research interest lies in cross-culture studies on young-adult consumer behaviors, comparison between Eastern and Western cultures in terms of international business and the impact of language on business etc. Her paper has been published on Journal of Business of Review and Journal of Eastern European Management studies.
