Abstract
The focus of the proposed research is on two groups of drivers of start-ups, internationalization and SME growth: personality and sociological background characteristics of entrepreneurs and managers of SMEs. These two groups of characteristics of persons can be related to start-ups and internationalization and can through internationalization impact firm growth; these relationships form a new model, which will be developed in the proposed study.
