Powering the Future: Our Visit to Kolektor Etra
Powering the Future: Our Visit to Kolektor Etra
During the visit, students learned more about Kolektor Etra, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of power transformers. With nearly six decades of experience in highly specialized industrial production, the company has established a strong international presence through continuous innovation, diversification, and strategic growth.
As our IMB students are about to begin their final project of the academic year – the PKP Project. As the programme's most extensive and impactful project, it brings together the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the year and culminates in a presentation at the Portorož Business Conference.
This year's focus is on investments in fixed and intangible capital, and as part of the project, IMB students recently visited KOLEKTOR ETRA, where they were welcomed by Peter Novak, Managing Director and IMB alumnus.
Peter Novak presented the company’s development journey, strategic direction, growth ambitions, and the key trends shaping the energy sector. Particular attention was given to the growing demand driven by renewable energy projects, the expansion of data centres, and the modernization of electricity grids worldwide. Students also had the opportunity to meet Andjelina Arsenijevic, an IMB alumna currently working in Sales at Kolektor Etra. She shared her professional journey from IMB to her current role, providing valuable insights into career development, the challenges of working in an international business environment, and the opportunities available to young professionals in the industry.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Peter Novak and the entire Kolektor Etra team for their warm welcome, hospitality, and inspiring presentation.
