At the final event of the project, students presented practical business models, prototypes, and innovative solutions for the human resources challenges of the company Tames
On July 6, 2026, at the final event of the project Entrepreneurial skills for acquiring experienced technical staff, carried out as part of the Problem-based learning of students in the work environment, students of the School of Economics and Business of the University of Ljubljana excellently presented their solutions, prototypes, and business models for the company Tames. Students Tarik Džinić, Luka Lisec, Borut Fajs, Meta Švagelj, Katarina Šušteršič, Jurij Matija Lisec, Jan Čulibrk, and Sara Hotić cooperated on the project. They were guided in their work by a mentor from the work environment, Robert Šegula, Mag., director of the company Tames, and a pedagogical mentor, Prof. Dr. Boštjan Antončič.
The company Tames is recognized in Slovenia primarily for its expertise in the field of electrical and mechanical installations. One of the key challenges that the company faces is the acquisition of technically qualified personnel with relevant practical experience. Therefore, the students prepared several business models, with which they sought new, useful, and feasible approaches to solving this challenge. In developing the solutions, they used design thinking and business modeling methods, while also taking into account the principles of sustainable development. Their solutions included various innovative proposals, such as a comparability calculator, promotional approaches, partnership models, and other connections. The special value of the presented solutions was in their practical applicability, as the students also prepared prototypes with which they clearly demonstrated the feasibility of their ideas.
