Students were welcomed by the SEB International Relations Office, while the academic component of the programme was led by Professor Paul Kalfadellis from Monash Business School. The study tour combined academic learning, exposure to the Slovenian business environment, and a rich cultural experience.

In addition to activities at UL SEB, participants visited several Slovenian companies and organisations, including Krka, d.d., Novo mesto and the Port of Koper. These visits provided valuable insights into Slovenia’s economy, business landscape, and examples of successful business practices across various industries.

The programme also included a range of cultural and social activities. Students explored Ljubljana and its landmarks and visited some of Slovenia’s most renowned attractions, such as Bled Castle and Postojna Cave. Along the way, they also experienced Slovenian gastronomy, traditions, and natural beauty.

The study tour represents a successful example of international cooperation between the University of Ljubljana School of Economics and Business and Monash Business School, contributing to students’ international learning experience, knowledge exchange, and stronger ties between the two institutions.
