In an era of rapid technological advancements and shifting educational paradigms, academic libraries are undergoing a profound transformation to remain at the forefront of supporting study process, research, and innovation. The role of libraries has moved beyond the traditional image of quiet spaces filled with books. Together we will be uncovering following topics:

  • Transforming Academic Libraries for the New Era
  • Research Support in Academic Libraries
  • User-Centred Library Architecture, Workspaces, and Equipment
  • Education Services Library Support

Presentations of the topics above will be followed by creative workshops on Strategies and Analyses of AI Use in Libraries, Libraries as Co-Creators of Study Programmes, Dissemination of Science, and User Experience in the Library

Target group: Professionals from academic institutions (Academic Librarians, Open Science and Science Dissemination specialists...)

Working Language: English. At least B2 level (upper intermediate).
