Curriculum Vitae
Maja Zaman Groff has completed undergraduate and masters studies of finance at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana. She attended the fourth year of the undergraduate program at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana. She completed the Doctoral Program in accounting and auditing at the Faculty of Economics. During the preparation of the doctoral dissertation she obtained a Visiting Scholar status at Columbia University, New York. Currently, she is employed at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana as Associate Professor at the Academic Unit for Accounting and Auditing and teaches accounting (Principles of Accounting) and auditing courses (Auditing, Internal auditing). At the Slovenian Institute of Auditors she obtained professional titles Auditor and Certified Accountant and has completed the 2-year program to become Certified Auditor. She is a member of the European Accounting Association. Currently she is a member of the audit committees of supervisory boards in companies Pošta Slovenije, HSE and Triglav health insurance.
