Aims of the course

Anticipating regulations, working with integrated product policies, preventing pollution, have led to competitive advantages through cost reduction and technological development.


This course aims to analyze these topics in four main steps:
1. Globalization of environmental issues and introduction of sustainable development concepts;
2. Introduction of environmental strategies and management systems;
3. Implementation of sustainable development into business practices and corporate strategies
4. Practical application of sustainable strategies in international and local businesses.

Students will be learn to recognize and apply environmental strategies in international and local businesses. Students will gain knowledge on using tools and theoretical background in business tasks as well as how to improve current business practices in a more sustainable manner.
