Comparability of concept, formal structure and content

The majority of programmes in quantitative finance and actuarial sciences can be found in countries with a strong financial and insurance sector, such as the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Belgium. The Master programme in Quantitative finance and actuarial sciences has been designed to be comparable to the most prestigious foreign programmes in quantitative finance and actuarial sciences. In particular, the comparability between the Master programme in Quantitative finance and actuarial sciences and the Master of Science in Actuarial Science programme at the University of Lausanne, the Master of Actuarial Science programme offered by City University in the United Kingdom and the Master of Science in finance: honors track in quantitative finance at VU University Amsterdam has been established.
