ABRAMOVIĆ VANJA

My name is Vanja Abramović and I come from Podgorica, Montenegro. I graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro majoring in international business. I like to travel, meet new cultures, people and challenges, so I decided to spend two years outside Montenegro. This helped me to realize the brighter picture of how world really functions and to set clear future goals. I am really open, friendly and ambitious person who likes to smile even in hard situations. I think IMB program will bring me more opportunities, knowledge and I am looking forward to spending 18 months in Ljubljana.

ANTOLIN NINA

My name is Nina and I graduated at the School of Economics and Business, major in International business. I'm positive and communicative person, who likes to work in group especially if it includes people from different parts of the world, and through this I can broaden my horizons about different cultures, different ways of working. I am very active person, I can't imagine a life without workout. I have chosen the IMB programme because I like to constantly create a new challenges for myself, and this seemed like an interesting one, that will definitely improve my skills and prepare me for the business world. Since I'm very ambitious and hard working person, I see myself as an independent, successful women in the future. So far, I have really enjoyed every minute in the class and I can't wait for all the memories we will create during this year.

ARIFI ARVITA

My name is Arvita Arifi, I come from Kosovo, I am 21 year old .
I graduate at the Faculty of Economy in Pristina.
I am ambitious, creative, talkative and open-minded person.
Enrolling in the IMB program was an obvious choice, so then I decided to do my masters at IMB because it will help me to learn several aspects related to business world and it will help me interact with corporate world confidently.
In the future, I imagine myself as a business woman, independent, successful and owner of my own company.

BABNIK BLAŽ

My name is Blaž Babnik and I have a degree in chemistry. Although I was always passionate about science, I was always trying to understand the branch of knowledge that rules the world. Of course I am talking about economy. I love working beside creative and ambitious people, and I am fond of saying that everything is possible and I believe the limits only exist in our minds.
I am passionate about traveling – exploring cultures I didn’t know that existed, meeting new people and socializing.
For everyday challenges I find energy in sports and peace in nature.

BARBARIČ TILEN

My name is Tilen Barbarič and I come from Murska Sobota, Slovenia. Before enrolling to IMB I graduated on Faculty of Sports, majoring in the field of Kinesiology. But after gaining some business experiences I realized that economics is actually what I am interested in. Therefore I decided for IMB programme because it represents a great opportunity to enter the world of business.
I am an ambitious person who loves to be challenged, is eager to try and learn new things and feels good when surrounded by people. Beside working hard I also like skiing, swimming and do all kinds of sports.
I think enrolling to IMB was one of my best made decisions in life.

BEČIĆ BILJANA

My name is Bečić Biljana and I come from Montenegro. I graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro. I also spent two semesters in Slovenia during my basic studies. My motivation is traveling, getting knowledge, sports, friends and family. Before I started studying abroad I was active volleyball player. One of my best life experience was work&travel USA program. I would like to learn and acquire experience practice work which I would be able to use once I return, and this is the reason why I chose IMB program to continue with my education. From the future I expect the best version of myself academically, professionally, and spiritually.

BENČINA ŽIVA

Hi, I am Živa! As my name suggests (Živa=alive in Slovene), I try to live as dynamic as possible and am in constant search of new challenges. After finishing my undergraduate studies on University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business, I came across IMB. As a person who hates routine, I can safely say I made the right decision, as not one day at IMB is same to another. Beside my passion for travelling, I love learning new languages and working in international groups. In the future I see myself working abroad, surrounded by dogs and always with a book in hand. However, no one can be sure where their life will lead, but one can put their best efforts in chosen direction, which is what I plan on doing.

BLAŽIČ AJDA

My name is Ajda and I'm coming from south-east part of Slovenia. During all my education days, from primary school and now I have my target clear as much as possible. I have finished my undergraduate studies at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business, majoring in Accounting and Auditing. I like to be part of team which achieves something special, and also I am a person who likes to use own talents, perseverance and knowledge in steps to reach the best results. Hi, my name is Milica Bogavac and I come from Montenegro. I graduated from the Faculty of International Economics, Finance and Business.
As a person I am a learner. I am willing to share my knowledge with others, and even more to upgrade it constantly. I am hard working, persisted, creative, goal oriented and open minded. I'm Teja and I graduated from the School of Economics and Business, majoring in International Business. Since, I spent two semesters of my UG studies abroad (Valencia, Munich) I’m determined to repeat an international experience in the future.
I applied for the IMB program to enrich my knowledge, challenge myself and operate in an intercultural hardworking group that provides generous opportunities for learning and developing an international network. I'm an optimistic, enthusiastic and ambitious person willing to apply myself wholeheartedly in any given situation.
So far, I have enjoyed working in the fields of marketing, event planning and project management but let's see what the future brings. In my spare time, I enjoy skiing, hiking, jogging, doing yoga, playing golf and most of all, traveling the world.

Hi! My name is Nika Kristina Butina, I am 21 years old and I live in Ljubljana. I have graduated from School of Economics and Business, majoring in International Business. I have a passion for entrepreneurship and I aim for innovation and optimization. Currently I am a part of a start-up with plenty of potential, which is my kind of a dream come true. Furthermore, I love learning foreign languages and I have been traveling the world since before I can remember. I also spent a semester on an exchange programme in United Kingdom, which gave me a certain width and equipped me for life from practical point of view. CORNILLON MANUEL

I am Manu and I come from Marseille, France. I graduated from INSEEC business school of Lyon with spe. marketing management and communication through a four year program. I am creative, curious and particularly interested in international experiences and languages. During my studies I had the opportunity to practice internships abroad, go for an erasmus exchange in Maribor which definitely convinced me to launch my career in Slovenia. The IMB program is for me, both a great challenge and a strong formative experience, I am highly motivated to increase my management skills in order to work in coming years for business development projects and international trades.

ČERNIC LUCIJA

I'm a curious, hard-working and hungry for knowledge person. I've been like that since elementary school already, playing with numbers and exploring the neverending knowledge of foreign languages. That led me to try myself at many different languages and to attend Faculty of mathematics and physics in Ljubljana. That's where I felt was like my second home, realising I want to continue studying in similar surroundings with ambitious people. At IMB's informative day I felt they could be exactly what I was looking for so I instantly knew that's where I want to be.

ČOP NIKI

I am Niki, 22 years old IMB student from Slovenia. I previously studied mechanical engineering in Ljubljana and successfully graduated this summer. During the undergraduate studies I developed interest in business. As I decided to broaden my knowledge, so I chose IMB program. Besides the study, my spectrum of interests is very broad. I love cars and I often occupy myself with practical challenges (repairing broken devices, car service). I like to work with people (children entertainment, helping people) and I really enjoy my free time for my hobbies and to hang out with my friends. Sports are also an important part of my life. And I also play a guitar and I love to travel. I am collecting experience and knowledge that will ensure me a good career and I am looking for new connections, challenges and opportunities.

DJUROVIC MARINA

Hello, my name is Marina Djurovic and I come from Podgorica, Montenegro. I graduated from Business faculty in Serbia.
I am ambitious, open-minded, creative and kind person who likes working in groups. That is one of the reasons why I choosed to enroll IMB where I can study in international environment. I like challenges and working under pressure, so I am sure this programe is right for me. I try to find positive things in every situation, and not be serious all the time. Life should be fun.

DOLENEC VESNA

Hello, my name is Vesna and I come from Slovenia. I graduated in Marketing at University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business. I would describe myself as creative, ambitious, optimistic and open-minded person. My biggest passion is traveling, sports and obviously, marketing.

ECHAGUE FERRERO MARIA VICTORIA

My name is Victoria Echagüe and I come from Paraguay. I belong to the first generation of environmental engineers of the National University of Asunción. I have been the winner of the X scholarship AIDIS-II UNAM (American Association of Environmental and Sanitary Engineering - Engineering Institute of the National Autonomous University of Mexico) which gave me the opportunity of researching in the field of environmental engineering at the Institute of Engineering of the National Autonomous University of Mexico for ten months. I have 4 years of experience in the field of environmental engineering. This experience include the design and implementation of projects of solid waste management at the University and different companies. I have also designed and leaded the implementation of an environmental management system based on ISO 14001 into a leading mattress industry in the market. I have worked in corporate social responsibility and as a teacher in the National University of Asunción. This year I have been awarded with an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship which gave me the privilege of studying the IMB at this Faculty. I am here to explore other side of the business. I believe in business as a tool of sustainable development that can meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. I am a passionate person with a strong social commitment who believes that it is possible to combine business with social development and environment preservation.

GABER HANA

My name is Hana. I am a dancer and yoga enthusiast, former rhythmic gymnastics champion and I graduated from The Faculty of Law in Ljubljana.
Even though I don’t really want to work in law, I am so grateful for what I have learned there: how to learn, apply knowledge, read texts, think critically and process large amounts of information in a short period of time. It also gave me respect and confidence to know there is nothing I can’t do if I set my mind to it.
This programme is a perfect opportunity for me to challenge myself further and gain knowledge I need for transitioning into the business world, which is very intriguing for me.
I want to work in creative environments with inspiring people and achieve great things. Even though my career is very important for me and I consider myself ambitious, I am not willing to go over the line for it. I want a life that enables me to be happy and find balance between all the things I want to do.
As much as I like making plans for the future, I sometimes secretly hope not everything always goes as planned. Because for me, there is nothing more horrible than routine and predictability. I want to have my eyes open for whatever life brings me, travel, be spontaneous and not miss great opportunities because I was sticking to my plan. My name is Urša and I come from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. I graduated from the Faculty of Economic majoring in Bank and Financial management. I decided to enroll to IMB program because I know I will gain a lot of practical knowledge and challenge myself on a daily basis. I have also spent a semester abroad in Paris, an international experience that I will never forget. After completing my bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Ljubljana, I wanted to expand my expertise to business administration and so I enrolled to IMB, to get the necessary skills and enable myself a breakthrough in the world. I enjoy teamwork, challenges and take every opportunity to broaden my horizons. Besides technology and economics I also spend a lot of time on sport, playing football or going to the gym. Sanja Končan is my name and recently I have graduated from School of Economics and Business, majoring in International Economics. Studying in Istanbul contributed to my aspiration of discovering other cultures even more. I like to travel and meet people from different backgrounds. With characteristics of outgoing and creative person, I many times invite companions over, cook for them and try to think outside the box while developing new and unfamiliar recipes. KUŠTRA JAN

After finishing undergraduate program at Faculty of Civil Engineering in Ljubljana I wanted to pursue further education in other fields. I discovered the IMB program and decided it would be perfect for me to help me achieve my ambitions. I have always wanted to work in a competitive environment and I believe a good set of managerial skills and understanding of economics are crucial in order for me to have a successful career. Apart from being very driven, ambitious and goal oriented I am also a very passionate sailor. My name is Maja Lotrič, and I am a determined, energetic, compassionate and an enthusiastic person, who always strives to achieve goals. It’s also true that I am stubborn and an perfectionist. Hello everyone, I'm Fabiola Martos, I'm from a town north of Peru called Cajamarca; I studied at the Private University of North and graduated eight years ago in the career of Accounting and Finance. I have 9 years of work experience, at companies in both goods and services. My last work experience was in a group of Catholic Schools as Head of Administration and Finance. Being here is a great opportunity for me, plus a great challenge. Not so easy being away from home and even more with a different language, but I think this is part of professional growth and especially staff. MENART ŽAN

My name is Žan Menart and I graduated from International Relations on Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Since I come from Idrija, once a remote but prosperous mercury mining town and now home to two global multinational companies, one is probably not surprised that I am in the 23rd IMB generation. If you ever visited our town – you would understand my meaning. Determination is in our DNA. It was needed throughout the years to stay in a remote town but still make it exceptionally successful. This determination, aspiration for perpetual learning and advancement are the true reasons, why I am enrolled in IMB programme.

Reading business literature or magazines is my free time activity. Challenging status quo and looking to disturb business environments is my dream. Shifting between different tasks and activities – well, this is my reality.

MERKUŽ TILEN

Hello everybody! My name is Tilen and I come from Ljubljana. I've graduated from University of organisational sciences and have a couple years of experience working as an assistant store manager. I started considering IMB after it was recommended to me by some friends. After some thought and research I decided that it is the best possible decision that I can make, so far I have not regretted it even for a second. I'm sure that although it will be a though year, it will be well worth it.
As a person I'm ambitious, optimistic, dynamic, competitive and I have a huge love for challenges. In my spare time I love playing basketball, hiking, traveling and hanging out with my friends and family. As evident from above I love sports, so that is an industry that I will target once my studies are finished.

NEDZBALA MARKO

My name is Marko and I enjoy living in different places. I was born in the USA, but I’ve been coming to Slovenia before I could walk. My formative years were spent living in many different countries and gaining an in depth knowledge of those places. After graduating from The University of North Carolina at Wilmington, which I believe is one of America’s best kept secret, I moved to Italy and worked there for 4 years. I believe that one should live and work in different places, because it is the most interesting way to see the world. In the future I hope to be working in another far off land something that combines my love of computers with my passion of the stock market.

My name is Ziga Pirc and I graduated at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business, majoring in Bank and Financial Management. As an exchange student I also studied in Vienna, Austria and enjoyed international environment. During my studies I gained some work experiences in investment banking and asset management industries. PUC ANJA

Hi. My name is Anja and I am a very active person who cannot imagine life without sport, music, good book and daily cup of coffee.
My life has always surrounded around sport as I practiced athletics (running). I invested a lot of time and money in sport, but I also gained a lot from it. Through sport I got most of my qualities and received athletic scholarship to do the whole study in the USA. I got my Bachelor degree in International Studies from University of Nebraska at Omaha.
After graduation I moved back home, quite running due to an injury, got a job and started living a life as every other “normal” person. It was quick that I realized, there is so much more I need to learn and that I need new challenges. This is when I decided to apply for IMB program. I don’t know where life will bring me in the future, but I believe this program will help me get a job I will enjoy and where i will be able to use my sport experiences, dynamic skills and goal oriented personality.

RADONJIČ DARJA

Living by this moto I studied at the Faculty of Social Sciences as well as at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business. In the meantime, I also started gaining experience from practice and was enthusiastic about it. However, I believe that a person can never be overeducated and that’s why I decided to do my masters at IMB, so I could learn from the best. I am passionate about finance, analytics and IT. I also enjoy travelling, reading, art and nature. I am a hard-working and self-motivated person, open to new experiences. I like to think about my future career as dynamic, challenging and rewarding in all aspects.

RODRIGUEZ ANTUNEZ HECTOR RICARDO

I am 27 years old. I come from Uruguay. I am a Certified Public Accountant, with six years of working experience in the field of Accounting and Bussiness Consulting. I have also worked as a Teacher Assistant and have been involved in extensión programs at the Univerity.
I have awarded an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship to be part of the IMB Programme. This is an excelent opportunity to continue growing personally and profesionally. It is a great challenge, where I will learn and work with different cultures.

SEVER EVA

I am Eva Sever and I come from Slovenia. I graduated in International Relations and ever since I returned from my study exchange to the University of Copenhagen, I am very active in various fields. I like organizing events and for the past 3 years I was part of the SiMUN (=a great way to explore the UN system through role-play) organisation committee. I follow the news so I tend to know a little bit about everything; I think it is cool to sacrifice the car for other transportation means; I also like design. Asking tough questions is my speciality. The principle reason for why I applied to IMB is to be ready to successfully enter the job market.

SLOVNIK JAN

I have graduated from University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business at English programme, majoring in marketing. In the future I would like to work in video gaming industry and my expectation from IMB programme is to give me the right skills in order to pursue that. I love combining knowledge from different fields and I believe that this will greatly help me in my professional career. So far I am loving the IMB programme, especially being able to get different views on certain topics from others, which I believe is one of the biggest advantages of the programme.

STIBRIČ ROK

Hi! My name is Rok Stibrič and I come from Krško, Slovenia. I graduated from the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business, majoring in Bank and Financial Management. During my last year of study I spent one semester abroad as an exchange student at the University of Amsterdam. I learned a lot there and also found out what I would like to do in my life. In addition to that I also had the opportunity to meet a former IMB student in Amsterdam who told me many great things about this programme. I did not hesitate when applying to IMB because I knew this is the programme that can help me to develop myself and expand my knowledge further on. I have successfully finished an internship at a bank in Slovenia so far and I am very grateful for having a chance to work under the mentorship of an extraordinary leader. As a person I am ambitious, hard-working, honest, eager to take challenges and competitive (always looking to win but also prepared to learn the most from losses and bounce back stronger). In the future, I would like to pursue my career abroad at a major institution in banking sector. I like sports, especially football which has always been and will always be my passion.

SYNYTSIA VOLODYMYR

I am a 28 year old lawyer from Ukraine. I am originally from the city of Cherkasy, yet I did my LLB in Kyiv, and continued my studies in Utrecht, the Netherlands, where I received an LLM in International Business Law and Globalization. Upon my return to Ukraine, for the past four years, I worked as an in-house lawyer for an international agricultural company, performing legal audit in over 20 countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Lately I decided to shift my career towards management and HR, and somehow got tangled with economics as well. It is going to be a very challenging year, since I was being loyal to my legal profession and did not go back to math since high school.

ŠIFRAR TOMAŽ

I am a reasonable, driven and determined person that loves challenges more than anything. I have finished my undergraduate studies at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business. Last year I spent one semester in Birmingham, UK. I like doing, discussing or reading business. Business is the biggest part of me. If I could describe myself with one word I would pick business. With IMB program I hope to build a strong platform to start my business journey.

ŠIKONJA JURE

My name is Jure. I come from small Slovenian city named Metlika. Before coming to IMB I received Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the Faculty of electrical engineering in Ljubljana. In addition to my technical knowledge I would like to gain some business skills, which will be necessary for me to achieve my goals. For that reason I enrolled into IMB Master’s programme – in such environment I will be able to improve my leadership and organisational skills. Next to my interest in engineering and energy I’m also very interested in fields of investing and startups. IMB will provide me with great amount of knowledge, but most importantly give me the right mentality. To conclude, being ambitious and hardworking I’m always looking forward to great challenges!

VODOPIVEC NINA

My name is Nina, I graduated from human resource management in faculty of social sciences, I am 24 years old and I have gained some valuable work experiences by now. I am very talkative and open-minded, love to do sports and meet new people from all over the world. I spent half a year on Erasmus exchange in Lisbon, which was a very valuable experience, especially for my personal growth. Applying to IMB program was a major decision for me, I was told it is an amazing program, but you have to be a hard worker, because IMB student apparently sleep at the faculty. So I believe that if I can do that, I can do anything.

VUČKOVIČ NEBOJŠA

My name is Nebojša Vučković and I graduated at the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. Currently enrolled in International Full Time Master Programme in Business Administration, I am looking to expand my knowledge in economics and finance. Understanding the underlying transactions and finance from an economic perspective is indispensable for a corporate lawyer. When providing comprehensive legal services to commercial undertakings, the process of entrepreneurial decision-making from the client’s perspective needs to be taken into account.
My previous professional and educational experience was acquired at national and international law firms, several projects and programs abroad, all with the focus on banking & finance law, M&A, arbitration and corporate law in general. Furthermore, I have developed extensive expertise in management due to my positions in travel agencies in Slovenia and Serbia during my student years.
After the IMB programme, I will seek employment primarily in a law firm, however, I am open for some similarly oriented opportunities in finance.

VUGA ŠPELA

My name is Špela Vuga. I graduated from Faculty of Social Work and decided to join IMB to gain the managerial knowledge and skills.
After completing the programme I plan on continuing my work on the field of social work and try to make the world better place by running my own social enterprise.

My name is Sara Zemljič. I am a young graduate of the Faculty of Education and believe passing on knowledge is part of my calling. In light of this desire, I find it amazing that I can do that in combination with all of my other career aspirations by taking on coaching and mentorship roles for the young and ambitious.
However, let us firstly remember the old saying: “In order to lead one must follow first learn how to follow”. But follow who?
Let’s see. In the years to come, I will strive to expand my horizons through acquiring knowledge, work experience and the strength, which will serve as the basis of my entrance into the professional world and perseverance in it. Further to the professional I will expand my social circle with meaningful relationships and develop ever more intercultural understanding.
Well today I know exactly who to follow. Their names are on the IMB curriculum, which is sure to truly kick-start every aforementioned aspect of my own youthful ambitions.

Hello everyone!!
My name is Uroš and I am coming from a small Slovenian village Žeje. I finished my Bachelor at Civil Engineering faculty. During my bachelor studies two experiences influenced my decision to join the IMB program. First experience that really changed me was Erasmus exchange which opened my horizons in a way of more open-mindedness. The second one was working in a Civil Engineering company which was rather small so I needed to adapt to diverse tasks, not only from Civil Engineering but also organisation and planning. So I think this combination of Civil Engineering and IMB will be the best for my future career.
I am very friendly person who enjoys life, likes to spend time with friends, travel around, loves basketball, badminton, surfing and much more.
