AJDOVEC PETRA

My name is Petra and I come from Gorenjska region, which automatically makes me a hiking enthusiast. I graduated from International Relations which was an obvious academic choice since I have always been interested in global affairs and cannot get rid of the travel bug. I have visited over fifty countries and lived, studied or worked in Latvia, Brazil and United States, which results in a very colorful been-there-done-that list. Even though the world is fascinating, exciting and has given me valuable life lessons I still have not found a country which I would like more than I like my homeland. After taking an adventurous gap year to backpack through South America I decided it is time to stop sleeping on bus stations, came back home to graduate and enrolled into IMB. Understanding business on an international level is an important asset in a globalized and increasingly interdependent world. I am looking forward to deepen my knowledge in that field, make new friendships and embrace sleep deprivation as a way of life. Writing this paragraph at two in the morning seems like a decent start.

A strong commitment to team work and continuous communication as a “two-way street” both serve as a source of trust, wherein the latter fulfills my desire for personal growth and strengthens interpersonal relations. Retaining integrity, dedication and persistence as core values exemplify the ideal cultural fit within the business environment, all of which are of greatest importance.
