STANKO DEVIČ

As a child of an entrepreneur I was in a constant touch with business world. After finishing grammar school in Ljubljana, Slovenia I was faced with the decision how to continue my studies. One part of me always wanted to study Law as it represents power and fairness with which I can relate. That other half was telling me to study Economics which widely expands your general knowledge and represents the principals of modern society. In this case I decided to prolong my studies at the University of Ljubljana, School of Economics and Business where I obtained bachelor degree specializing in Entrepreneurship. My special field of interest are languages as I speak 4 languages fluently – Slovene, Serbian, English and Spanish and I am currently in a process of learning German as well. I call myself ‘Bird of passage’ as I love backpacking around the world and I am planning to devote fair amount of my life to it in later years.

MAŠA KOROŠEC

Achieving high set goals in life dictates devotion and proactiveness. I trained rhythmical gymnastic for eleven years and it taught me how to overcome obstacles, trust in my capabilities and push myself further and out of my comfort zone in order to advance. Getting my Bachelors degree in Law for me meant achieving a goal, not learning for a 'final profession', since I somewhere in the middle of studies realised I need a much more dynamic and creative environment to build a career in. Accepting that led me to obtain different work experiences, through which I found my passion for marketing. By nature I’m a creative, ambitious, positive and open person who loves challenges. I am very curious and enjoy working with different people on projects, so that days stay as far away from routine as possible. I saw IMB as an interesting and demanding program that will confront me with challenges and which will open me doors into the business world I want to enter - so far it has proven to be exactly that and I really look forward to what comes next.

META GVARDJANČIČ

Once I read somewhere that challenges are what make life interesting, but overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. I could not agree more. After pursuing law studies with progress but no enthusiasm I realised that was not the right challenge for me, so I switched to School of Economics and Business. Probably the best decision I made up to date. Studying economics immediately felt right and I am enjoying it more and more as I progress. Since I successfully obtained my bachelor degree majoring in International Business this summer I knew it was time for a new challenge. IMB program looked like perfect combination of a demanding program, new knowledge and practical orientation which is exactly what we will need when entering the job market in the near future. On a less official note, I enjoy being outside, doing sports or just spending time with family and friends. My guilty pleasures are following everything fashion-related and eating anything sweet.
