Živa Bele

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, Marketing Communication and Public Relations

Why this specialisation?

Due to frequent relocations during my early years, I have experienced severe dynamics in the context of cultural environment, often finding myself surrounded by the individuals with life views full of contrasts. This journey was mind shaping and taught me a great lesson of perspective's importance over situation itself. That is one specific reason I identified the field of marketing and public relations so appealing, as it calls for creativity in storytelling and thus enables turning weaknesses into strengths while achieving goals.

5 words that describe you best:

Curious, driven, spontaneous, empathetic, visionary.

Strengths:

I am curious, creative, ambitious, open-minded, analytically thinking and always eager to take challenge. When it comes to facing these, I try to be as passionate as possible and take every opportunity that gives me a sense of personal development, which is vital for me. I sincerely believe that while each of us has unique set of natural talents, truly game-changing distinction is one's curiosity and eagerness for continuous learning

My proudest achievement:

Among my recent achievements, I am definitely proud of my time at the Central Bank of Slovenia, where I was having a wide array of daily tasks, as well as worked on several major projects. The reason I am particularly proud of these is because these projects were of massive scale and had highest degree of impact in comparison to other projects that I have taken during my professional career. For me personally, it is a tremendous pleasure to work on something that can inspire other people and can influence one's life for the best.

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Pharmacy, Cosmetology

Why this specialisation?

While studying at the Faculty of Pharmacy I saw the economic potential in the field of Cosmetics. This got me interested in economics, business and organisation. I noticed that cosmetic industry is much more developed abroad which is why I choose this international programme. Although I enjoyed my experience of working in a laboratory but I do not see myself working there full time. Instead I would prefer to combine the knowledge that I have received with knowledge I can acquire in this IMB programme. I would like to improve my communication skills and learn how to work in a team. I believe that IMB programme will open new doors for me and help me get in contact with potential employers and co- workers while getting to know their methods of work on living projects.

5 words that describe you best:

Hardworking, responsible, patient, empathetic, kind.

Strengths:

I have learnt to be responsible, patient and be able to look at things from a different perspective. Attending school and my extracurricular activities taught me to manage time in order to be successful. I am persistent and will not stop working on something until I get it right. In the years of playing basketball, I have played for many different teams lead by different coaches, which taught me a lot about discipline, teamwork and preforming under pressure.

My proudest achievement:

My proudest achievement is finishing my diploma. The aim of my thesis went more in the direction of organic chemistry than cosmetology. Because of that, I had to learn new instrumental methods of analysis and how to work in a laboratory on my own while using various devices that I had not used before. I also had to learn more about chemical structures and reactions. It took me quite a long time to finish my diploma and prepare for the presentation and the discussion. The whole process taught me that if I set my mind to something and work hard, I can achieve anything.

Tilen Burgar

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, SEB LU, International Business

Why this specialisation?

While starting my bachelor's studies my main ambition was to get an international experience. Therefore, I chose one of the two programs at SEB LU that offer Slovene students the chance to study along with foreign ones. Additionally, I also was not yet sure of what field I wanted to work in, so I chose a broad program that would not limit me in the future. Lastly, in the future, I want to work in an international environment, either abroad or in Slovenia, and I believe that the International Business specialisation enabled me to prepare for that.

5 words that describe you best:

Ambitious, open, loyal, honest, versatile

Strengths:

I have done two Erasmus exchanges, which enabled me to build a strong network of international contacts and become comfortable when dealing with foreign people. Additionally, through my studies at SEB LU and through my jobs I have developed good teamwork skills. Furthermore, I am a quick learner as I have switched between different industries easily in the past. Lastly, I am also very good at utilizing tools such as Excel and other similar products to optimize work tasks.

My proudest achievement:

While working for a company doing real estate valuation I proposed a project to optimize a work process, which would automate a 20-minute analysis and shorten it to a few seconds, saving the company countless hours of unnecessary work in the future. After the project was given the “go-ahead” by my boss I also successfully completed the project, while coordinating with team members on what the final implementation would look like.

Lucija Divjak

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, SEB LU, International Business

Why this specialisation?

When I applied to the School of Economics and Business, I knew that the business world interests me. However, I did not specifically know what field would be the best and would be the most interesting for me to learn about. With the specialization in International Business, I had the opportunity to learn about different aspects of a business. From the internal processes like accounting, human resource management etc. to specific elements connected to companies that are competing on a global scale

5 words that describe you best:

I am honest, friendly, reliable, motivated and a perfectionist.

Strengths:

I have quite a few strengths that define me. The first batch of strengths I would like to stress out are that I am very enthusiastic, hardworking, dedicated and determined. This means that for every problem or challenge I face, I put 110% of effort into it and I do not give up until a solution is found and the problem is solved. Another two strengths I believe are very important are communication and organisation skills in my everyday life as also during teamwork. Even though I can be quite persuasive, I do keep an open mind when it comes to important decisions.

My proudest achievement:

I was not always the high-achieving and ambitious student I am today. In high school, I was quite average in terms of grades because I spent a lot of time pursuing different passions like playing the piano, taking singing lessons, acting in a musical etc. Most of the subjects, especially science subjects, did not interest me. On the other hand, I took Economics in my last two years of high school and I started to sense that this field of study is quite fascinating and there are so many areas you can pick from to study. Since the first day of university studies, I can say that I started to develop this eagerness to learn, this thirst for knowledge, which I did not experience before. I can proudly say that in the last three years of being very studious, curious, risk-taking and having a few sleepless nights, I have reached the grade point average that puts me on the top of my generation.

Krištof Kuzman

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, Media and Communication Studies

Why this specialisation?

I’m very communicative and open-minded person. After finishing highschool I struggled deciding which kind of field my future self would like to pursue. Therefore, when I was choosing which University I should apply to, my first priority was being able to broaden my knowledge in the field of communication. I also at the time realized that real-life work experience is something to be able to focus on during my studies and attending the Faculty of Social Sciences would allow me to achieve that. I have gained a variety of different skills in the broad field of communication, which helped me immensely at realizing what I want to do in my future.

5 words that describe you best:

Straight-forward, communicative, motivated, energetic, optimistic

Strengths:

My biggest strength is most definitely my straight-forwardness. I'm not afraid to stand out and I never hesitate to say or ask If something is bothering me or if I think that something isn’t done as it should be. I believe giving and receiving appropriate feedback is one of the great ways a person can improve and develop. I would consider myself to be a very stubborn and motivated individual who is dedicated to achieving his goals. One of the things that are important to achieving goals is also having a positive mindset - therefore looking for opportunities and good outcomes when faced with a bad situation. I'm very optimistic about my future and about life in general and that's what keeps me going every day!

My proudest achievement:

I don't really have one exact proudest achievement in my life. I live for the little 'victories' in my life that give me energy and motivation to constantly set myself new goals and reach them as soon and as best as I can. I believe the value and the way we perceive our achievements changes overtime, each holding a specific meaning to one’s life. Looking back, at the age of 5 my proudest achievement was learning to ride a bicycle. However, my latest and proudest achievement therefore was being accepted to IMB. I'm really proud and happy to be a part of this programme and I can't wait to see where this new path in my life will take me.

I always tend to consider other people’s points of view and try to understand the real reasons for their actions, beliefs. I strive for honesty because even though the honest way is often harder and/or longer, I think it is the right one. I'm quite adaptive to different people and situations. I'm also engaging and polite to everybody.

My proudest achievement:

My proudest achievement is launching a brand, Veronika by Prelli, with a colleague, or rather, having the guts to do it. The official launch was May 15th earlier this year. We sell silk bandanas - “scarfettes” in two different sizes. Starting a brand taught us a lot already and we're still at the beginning. This decision did not only affect our priorities, comfort zones, and future decisions, it has also challenged our former schoolmates to get rid of the fear of failure and start thinking about their own fashion brands.

Urška Lovšin

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Education, Social Pedagogy

Why this specialisation?

First and foremost, I was attracted to Social Pedagogy since I enjoy working with people of all ages and was excited at the prospect of plenty of interpersonal interaction. At the same time, I have always been interested in understanding interpersonal relations and their entanglement with the human psyche on a deeper level. Specifically, this exact specialisation introduced me to the causes of distinctive social behaviours, thus granting me better insight into the actions of individuals. Further, I was able to not only explore how and why different types of individual problems may arise, but also learn how they may be effectively counteracted with appropriate professional responses. In conclusion, my undergraduate degree was a holistic exploration of the nature of learning, interpersonal relations and human development.

5 words that describe you best:

extroverted, curious, analytical, committed, ambitious.

Strengths:

One of my most pronounced strengths are my interpersonal skills. An extrovert by nature, I have had the opportunity to further develop my communication, public speaking and emotional intelligence competencies in an academic setting throughout my undergraduate degree as well as through various extracurricular activities. The latter often placed an emphasis on collaboration, allowing me to hone my teamwork skills through continuous cooperation and various group activities. Such group projects also allowed me to develop project management and organisational abilities

My proudest achievement:

I consider my contributions as a volunteer at the Association Centre for Youth Assistance (CPM) over three years my proudest achievement. Specifically, I was once personally responsible for the organisation and management of post-secondary educational workshops on topics ranging from personal perception to communication improvement to addiction. In addition, I contributed to the delivery of social skill sessions which involved a week-long comprehensive training centred around numerous social skills.

Mario Miličević

Country: Bosnia and Herzegovina

Undergrad degree:

University of Sarajevo, School of Economics and Business Sarajevo, Bachelor of Financial Management

Why this specialisation?

Even in High School I knew that I will pursue Management once enrolled in University. During the first two years of studying at the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo I realized that Financial Management is something I want to specialize in. I choose it as my specialization because I realized the large specter of applicability it has in different industries ranging from the Banking sector to the continuously growing IT sector (FinTech).

5 words that describe you best:

Ambitious, Confident, Versatile, Persistent, Energetic

Strengths:

Developing my character through international schools and sports I believe that I managed to combine the best of both worlds and develop some strong attributes along the way. I have an extremely positive mindset which gets me through stressful and hard situations calmly, I am excellent in working under pressure and deadlines and have developed social and communication skills that help me while working in teams but also when being set in leadership positions.

My proudest achievement:

Here I can directly relate to my field of study and future goals. I would point out the fact that during my third year of Bachelor’s study together with one of my colleagues I wrote a successful investment proposal and business plan for a startup that we plan to bring to reality, as recommended to us by our professor. Besides this I was the leader of the team that won the first place in the Pro Banker Intercollegiate Competition 2019 for the School of Economics and Business Sarajevo. I would also point out that during my High School days I was actively involved in sports (I've been team captain for both my club and school teams) and volunteering through which we raised funds for many different causes.

Anja Mlinar

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical faculty, Biotechnology

Why this specialisation?

I had this idea to be a scientist, but during my master in Biotechnology and Erasmus exchange in Belgium I figured it out, that I like to search solutions for scientific challenges, but I prefer organising things, be in charge of something, have some responsibility, be able to spread scientific application worldwide, to earn some real money instead applying for different public tenders etc. Once I was told that economists are like sailors in stormy sea, meaning that economic market/environment is changing quite fast and that is full of challenges – you can’t get bored. I kept that in my mind, when I reconsidered what I want to achieve in my life or who I want to be: A bridge between scientific discoveries and worldwide use of them. I think that IMB program can give me the knowledge to do that.

5 words that describe you best:

Dynamic; responsible; determined; social; organized

Strengths:

Mother nature or my parents passed on me few talents, but I think that most valuable for my professional path is successful dealing with people. I can easily read (most of the) people and I almost always find a way to approach different types of persons. I have a very good developed ability of empathy, which helps me to understand each individual. Meaning that I can easily find a way to work and motivate most of the people. So far this ability also enabled me to correctly organize and divide work inside the group of people.

My proudest achievement:

The first thing that comes to my mind is my Erasmus + exchange. I spent my first semester (September 2018 – January 2019) of my master degree in Belgium. I studied at Faculty of bioscience engineering at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven). Based on my Erasmus agreement I took courses from different study directions. Erasmus exchange challenged me at many levels. First was definitely a professional one – KU Leuven is one of the best universities in Europe. Consequently, they have higher knowledge standard and completely different concept of studying than in Slovenia. Besides that, in Leuven study a lot of international people, which meant that there was no easy way for us Erasmus students – we were treated equally as all other students at all levels (also examination). Mainly I struggled with two problems: a) Leak of background knowledge. I think that the reason for this was my participation in courses from different study directions. In Slovenia I studied Biotechnology, which is quite broadly orientated, but unfortunately not enough. b) Independent work. At Leuven I had to study and search for information/explanations much more than in Slovenia. I was forced to do more self-preparations as I was used to. All together was quite exhausting, but at the end I felt really great and productive. Despite my problems I got quite broad and good knowledge, which was graded with highest marks. In addition to that, university knowledge wasn’t the only knowledge I got. Erasmus exchange put me out of my comfort zone, so I learned some things about myself, for example that I don’t like to spend too much time alone. It also showed me that life in abroad isn’t easy, that you have to work really hard to achieve same things as you already have in your home country. I learned how to be independent, confident and self-standing person. Successfully finished Erasmus exchange is valuable to me, because I showed myself that no matter where life will put me, I can survive and achieve something. In compare to Erasmus exchange all other achievements look smaller, but I am still happy and grateful that I am a successful Biotechnology student, a successful dancer and dance teacher and that I was able to enroll to IMB programme.

Jan Muc

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, Faculty of mechanical engineering

Why this specialisation?

I was interested in Technical problems ever since I was a little kid. I really liked to dismantle and then reassemble old electronics, building things with Lego Technic and creating all sorts of practical products. I later decided to visit and study on Technical gymnasium in Novo mesto. There I got really interested in math and engineering problems. I also considered the fact that the profession of mechanical engineer is in great demand nowadays. These are the main reasons why I chose to study at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

5 words that describe you best:

Loyal, Team-player, Thorough, Obliging, Dedicated.

Strengths:

Since I have played handball for a large part of my life, I find myself working well in a team. This was also shown later when we carried out various projects at the faculty. I am detail oriented and I always try to deliver as good finished products (reports, diploma …) as I or my collective can. I am also good at organizing work, tasks and even different events or trips for only me or a group of people.

My proudest achievement:

Since I am still a student and I have dedicated most of my life to studying, I have not yet achieved everything I would like on a professional level or better put something worth mentioning. I have still goals I am aiming to achieve. But as my proudest achievement I would count the fact that even though I am not playing handball for quite some time now, me and my teammates still help each other and are great friends. The whole team I’ve been training with every day for 10 years still answers and comes to assist you and expects nothing in return. The fact that I have friends for so long and that we are willing to lend a helping hand regardless of whether the work is demanding, it is a drive with a car no matter what time or just a conversation, I consider as my proudest achievement.

Taja Novak Levstek

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, SEB LU, International Business

Why this specialisation?

I chose International Business as my field of specialization, as I decided I wanted to pursue a career in business, and I knew understanding the international perspective in the ever-changing economic environment is very important. Moreover, in todays’ globalized world, I believe that it is highly beneficial knowing the business terminology in a foreign language, especially in English. Since SEB LU currently offers only two programmes in English, International Business seemed like the obvious choice.

5 words that describe you best:

Friendly, organized, reliable, honest, ambitious

Strengths:

Throughout my studies, I gained a comprehensive knowledge of international business and quite some work experience. Some of my main strengths are thoroughness, reliability and persistence. I am a fast learner, quite talkative and I operate in teams well. I am highly organized and detail oriented and have showcased leadership ability on many occasions. One of my strengths is also empathy, helping me understand perspectives besides my own. Last but not least, I am also a very curious person with a wide range of interests, always willing to learn something new.

My proudest achievement:

During the first year of my undergraduate studies, I was not yet certain whether choosing to study economics was the right choice for me, as I also had some other universities in mind at the time. Therefore, my grades and overall GPA were lacking. By the end of year one, I knew business was what I wanted to do, and I set a goal to significantly improve my average by the end of the third year. I succeeded to surpass the goal I set, all by working part-time as an assurance intern. This is my proudest achievement in the academic field so far.

Petja Oplotnik

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences, International relations

Why this specialisation?

The study of International relations encompasses a variety of different fields, from economy and politics to international law, relations among countries. For me this was a really interesting specialisation, because you get a broader perspective on the connectivity between these different fields. All of the areas are relevant no matter where you work and IMB is a perfect next step to get a better insight into the world of business.

5 words that describe you best:

Kind, positive, ambitious, determined, organized.

Strengths:

I would say my strengths are organisation, coordination, fast learning-especially new languages, enthusiasm and that I am a team player. I also adapt really quickly to different situations, quickly find solutions to different problems and am really good in managing crisis situations.

My proudest achievement:

My two proudest achievements in the student years are the internship in the European Parliament, where I got to see how an international institution functions in practice, where I was able to contribute with my work and test the knowledge I gained throughout the four years of my bachelor studies. The second is the organisation of an international conference with around 50 participants, from three different continents and 14 different countries, which also included high-level guests that participated at the two panels. As the project manager I was really happy that the conference turned out better than expected.

Hana Palčič Vilfan

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law

Why this specialisation?

Although I finished law school and I wish to pursue my career as an attorney, I decided on enrolling in the IMB programme to obtain better understanding of inner workings of a company. Namely, during my student years and work experience, I have come to realize that in order to effectively and efficiently apply legal rules and solve legal issues (in the area of commercial law), you also need to understand and consider economic aspects of business. The other reason I have chosen the IMB programme, is my desire to maybe someday experience working and living abroad. With a law degree however, my options to work abroad are limited since law is primarily of national nature. Therefore, to open the doors to future possibilities, I decided on also studying business and economics from an international perspective, which the IMB programme seemed perfect for.

5 words that describe you best:

Persistent, straight-forward, assiduous, loyal, and reliable (also sometimes difficult).

Strengths:

I am hard working, ambitious, determined and I always give 100%. I am skilled in organizing my time and managing my work to get as much done as possible. I am not afraid to take on new challenges and am not afraid of failing, as I opine that you learn the most from your mistakes. I am able to take criticism, especially when it is constructive as I see it as a great way to learn and grow as a person. I am also very honest and straight forward. Because I do not like tension or insidiousness, I try to immediately resolve any arising issues. In that sense I am a good mediator and a good listener and I always try to understand where the other person is coming from.

My proudest achievement:

My proudest achievement is from a legal area of expertise. In the academic year 2019/2020 I have competed in the European Law Moot Court competition, which is an international competition in legal writing and debate on issues of EU law. My team and I had been preparing for this competition for 6 months and achieved some great results at the regional final in Ghent, Belgium. It is my greatest achievement so far, because I have worked extremely hard and my efforts were reflected in the result, as I was awarded best pleader of the competition.

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Primorska, Faculty of Tourism Studies, Tourism

Why this specialisation?

I obtained my University Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, which was an obvious academic choice since my interests go to business in tourism and organisation. On the other hand, tourism is a worldwide industry that can open many opportunities and expand your perspective. I also enjoy travelling and meeting new people which is why I found the programme suitable for me. I see myself as an optimistic person and motivated by knowledge and I would like to upgrade my current knowledge in the field of economics and business.

5 words that describe you best:

Friendly, Motivated, Reliable, Caring, Flexible

Strengths:

I would like to emphasize my ability to work under pressure. From an early age, I was more productive and efficient in stressful situations and I was also more successful under pressure than in calmer conditions. Under stress, I do more and better. Playing volleyball also carried great importance. Not only does it take disposition, talent and passion for the game, it also takes hard work, discipline and perseverance to be successful in the sport. I acquired these qualities at an early age and they helped me shape my personality.

My proudest achievement:

The most meaningful achievements for me are several volleyball titles, such as National Champions with team Zgornja Gorenjska and OK Mladi Jesenice. The titles are reward for every-day hard trainings, busy weekends with tournaments and shortened holidays due to preparations. It showed me that with hard work and consistency, I am able to achieve high ranked goals. One of the most meaningful achievements for me is also University graduation. During studies it was important to be organized, disciplined, responsible and there were many diligence assignments. Through the studies and extracurricular projects I have gained a lot of knowledge that will help me with my further education.

Sara Sekuloska

Country: North Macedonia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, SEB LU, Marketing

Why this specialisation?

I decided to study marketing mainly because I was interested in consumer behavior and marketing research. I have always been fascinated with psychology and the study of human nature, how people perceive reality and how they make decisions. Even more so, I was interested in how we attain those information, which is through research and statistical analysis. Hence, I would say that the approach marketers use to make decisions is the key reason why I wanted to study marketing.

5 words that describe you best:

Compassionate, ambitious, reliable, trustworthy and passionate.

Strengths:

My greatest strength is my curiosity; I always want to understand why things are the way they are, rather than just retain information. As a result, I find studying and learning enjoyable and fulfilling. My other strengths are determination, focus and commitment. I am passionate about everything I do, and I try to do everything with the same level of devotion and attentiveness to detail. Lastly, I am a good team player, because I care more about the achievement itself, rather than getting credit for it.

My proudest achievement:

My proudest achievement is my success in debate competitions. Public speaking and oratory, particularly about political and societal issues, have been my passion for as long as I can remember. Moreover, the debate community is notorious for its brutal competitiveness, which is why any success is that much more valuable. On both national and international competitions, my team always ranked in the top; not just as a result of our knowledge and talent, but more so because of our cohesiveness as a team and dedication to one another.

Nejc Pavlič Damijan

Country: Slovenia

Undergrad degree:

University of Ljubljana, SEB LU, International business

Why this specialisation?

In terms of my interests, I was always somewhere inbetween a naturalist and a sociologist, which is why I took an economics class in high school already. The field of economics seemed broad enough for someone who was not completely sold on what exactly he wants to do in life. I chose the International business course due to the fact that it was the only course offered in English as that was a priority for me. Otherwise I'd probably have chosen the Money & Finance course for my Undergrad studies.

5 words that describe you best:

Confident, open-minded, easy-going, responsible, independent.

Strengths:

I believe one of my biggest strengths is my hard-working and determined mindset. Topics/projects I'm interested in quickly consume me as I become determined to finish them in the best way possible. This also shows in my free time activities, such as mountaineering and, in the newfound love for climbing. I am also an Architect when it comes to personality types, which means I am a pretty good researcher, organizer, and analyst. I'm constantly analysing various scenarios in my head and can offer quick, imaginative, and strategic decisions to various problems. Besides that, I am a highly self-confident and a rational person, while also having an open mind to various ideas and matters. An example of that would be that even though I don't believe in the consumption-oriented society we currently live in that is, in some way, supported by technology and progress, I am still very open to new technological ideas and am, in many ways, intrigued by them. Moreover, I am also an independent and decisive person who, usually, does not need a lot of guidance when completing a task. Lastly, one of my attributes that also comes to mind is my ability to stay calm in stressful situations and not give in to my emotions in such situations.

My proudest achievement:

Being the head of the Marihuana marš event (5000-6000 attendees) and successfully organising the event while managing a team of 12 people has probably been one of my proudest achievements so far. Even though, looking back, I can realize that loads of mistakes were made and some things could've been done better, the whole process of organising such an event was a big learning curve for me both personally and professionally.

I have chosen these specializations because this mix is a perfect combination and preparation that allows you to understand the business environment, the market players, influencing mechanisms, how organisations function, and the power of leadership for enabling change. Also, having a degree in both fields, allows you to have a general knowledge of almost any business field which then allows you to easily specialize in an area where you are mainly interested.

5 words that describe you best:

positive, organized, curious, team player, hard-working

Strengths:

I consider my greatest strengths the ability to deal with pressure and tight deadlines, and also collaborate in an environment with diverse teams. While under extreme pressure, I managed to successfully deliver the desired results.

My proudest achievement:

Why this specialisation?

I chose to study International Relations because I believe it is a very dynamic field of study, as it combines international law, economy and politics with the goal to elucidate current crucial events, such as crisis’s or wars. Being a vastly curious person, I have always been interested in what is happening in the political and economic arena not just at the domestic, but also the global level. In my opinion, having the ability and knowledge to understand processes and relations that surround us universally, can immensely help you in any field you pursue your career in, especially economics.

5 words that describe you best:

Organised, trustworthy, optimistic, perfectionist, ambitious.

Strengths:

I would say that my strengths include being an efficient team player. In the recent years I have worked on many different projects in smaller groups. From these I have deeply strengthened my interpersonal skills and learnt that in order to successfully achieve a common goal, all team mates must constantly work together (no one being left behind), keep motivated and have fun in the process. Another strength also stems from this and is being a very organized person. This includes time management, which enables higher productivity and less stress. My other strengths are multi-tasking, handling pressure and fairness.

My proudest achievement:

Reflecting on my current achievements, I believe that what I am truly most proud of at this point in life is leaving home at a relatively young age and becoming an independent person. I have always been encouraged to being self-sufficient and finding my own apartment in a new city has made me more organized, disciplined and responsible. In my opinion this has helped me to redefine my priorities and to develop into the person I am today.
