What is your proudest achievement?

The achievement I am most proud of is the fact that I have been successfully developing, organising and leading the scout organisation's programme for children over 15 years old as well as helping my protegees to become self-standing, logical-thinking, environmentally and socially responsible people.

What is your life motto?

“There is always a way.”

What are your strengths?

I am very goal-oriented and have the ability to work well under pressure. Being a very positive person, I can contribute to any environment with my personality and attitude, expressed through my systematical approach, full involvement and high level of motivation.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

The program caught my attention already years ago (in high school), because I wanted to make the best out of my education. When browsing through the SEB LU page and looking at all that it has to offer, I came across IMB. After finishing SEB LU my knowledge of business has widened and deepened, therefore I am now fully convinced that your program would be the best fit for both; my further education and career.

What is your proudest achievement?

That I learned to manage fear and stress. After a bad fall from a horse, I overcame my fear, got back on the saddle, and continued to compete in this sport. During my active sports activities, I encountered stressful situations, which are an inevitable factor in today's lifestyle, but with more experience I also perceived stress differently and learned to manage it.

Which words describe you best?

Organized, ambitious, communicative, curious and empathetic.

What is your life motto?

“Mistakes are often the greatest teachers.”

What are your strengths?

I would say that my strengths is ability to work under pressure, being honest, not afraid to ask and admit if I do not know something.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

During my international undergraduate studies, I became acquainted with the IMB programme. Already in the international undergraduate program, I gained a lot of knowledge and joy for teamwork with people from different international cultural backgrounds. All of these relationships have also contributed to my personal growth.The IMB program is unique and fits my career goals. I also look forward to studying and collaborating with highly motivated colleagues and gaining knowledge from renowned professors.

My proudest achievement is becoming a part of Lidl's controlling department as a part of my student job and living abroad for half a year.

Be the change you wish to see in the world. I always try to give my best and do good for the community.

What are your strengths?

Being adaptable, always ready to help others, perseverance, and ability to solve problems fast and effectively.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

Since my childhood, I have been listening to my family talking about business since they run a successful company. We debate about economics, political situation, and finances every day. Three years after I started to attend the classes at SEB LU and the IMB posters around the campus have caught my attention and now I am curious about how the program can improve my career.

I feel that the program is best suited for my skills and aspirations. I found out from good friends who enrolled and had nothing but nice things to say.

My Bachelor's degree and a few developed web and mobile applications.

Extrovert, enthusiastic, funny, thorough and explorer.

What is your life motto?

I do not have an explicit one. My goal in life is to work as hard as I can to become the best version of myself. Every day I strive to learn something new.

What are your strengths?

Enthusiasm, thoroughness, foreign languages, desire to work with others and solve real problems.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

The first reason is that I want to connect my area of expertise (computer science) with economic (managerial) knowledge. And for the past year, I have also been programming for a company in Ljubljana and felt how much good management affects every company member.

I work well under pressure, I am very creative, curious, adaptable, a good team player who has no trouble taking over and leading a group if necessary and I am used to public speaking.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

I chose to apply to the IMB programme because I realized over the past few years that I want my job to be more challenging and rewarding and that I am very interested in how businesses work. Long-term planning, managing resources, networking, staying in the know and problem-solving are all things I want to learn more about. When I entertained the thought of changing the course of my studies to something more business oriented I visited the website of SEB Ljubljana.

What is your proudest achievement?

I have a couple of proud achievements so far. My proudest moment was graduating Cum Laude from University of Hawai'i at Manoa with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2020 alongside a demanding and successful swimming career, which lasted for 15 years and also landed me a scholarship in Hawai'i.

Which words describe you best?

Organized, empathetic, ambitious, proactive and team player.

What is your life motto?

There are two mottos I live by, »Attitudes are contagious.« and »Entitled to nothing, grateful for everything.«

What are your strengths?

I am organised, have great time-management, work well in teams and under pressure.

I have found about IMB from alumni. I chose the IMB programme because it is well accredited, it is culturally diverse, it is in English and it works on real life business cases.

The achievement I am most proud of is embarking on a month-long trip to Spain, Portugal, and the Azores completely alone.

Curious, open-minded, extroverted, resourceful and reliable.

What is your life motto?

The motto that keeps me going is "Creativity flows when curiosity is stoked." The quote always helps me with being productive and creative because the more curious you are, the more you learn.

What are your strengths?

One of my strengths is most definitely that I am a person that will always encourage my peers and offer my help. I always strive towards upgrading my creativeness, which is usually applied to people that are working with me.

Many people that I have spoken to about this programme said that it offers much needed practical knowledge in combination with theory, and it facilitates contact with leading companies, providing young professionals with their potential employers.

What is your proudest achievement?

The achievement that I am most proud of is a continuous one. Two years ago, at the start of the pandemic, I started learning about digital marketing besides my studies. I am proud of myself for keeping pushing and hard work, which led me on a journey of new experiences.

Ambitious, driven, determined, strong-willed and empathetic.

What is your life motto?

It would be »Do what you love and love what you do.«

What are your strengths?

I would say my strengths are in the way I approach what I do. I like to learn about the topic or problem, and then my mind can get creative around it. I approach challenges and tasks holistically. Most of the time, I try to find "the why" behind almost everything I or we do as a team.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

I chose IMB because I believe I will have the ability to get valuable insight into the business world and learn how big companies and corporations approach business planning and marketing.

My proudest achievement is finishing my bachelor's degree in civil engineering while working two jobs and still managing to have a relatively decent work-life balance.

What is your proudest achievement?

I would say that my proudest achievement is the fact that during my second year of undergraduate studies I had a GPA of 9.6 for which I was awarded a commendation for study performance.

Which words describe you best?

Curious, adaptable, ambitious, reliable and honest.

What is your life motto?

I wouldn't necessarily say that I have a life motto, but i resonate with the motto "where there is a will, there is a way". So far in life I've found that if something is important to me it is much easier to make an effort and achieve that goal.

What are your strengths?

I would say that adaptability is one of my main strengths. Because I am able to learn and understand new things very quickly, I can adjust quicker when it comes to new and or different situations/circumstances.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

In general, I knew I wanted to pursue a business based programme. However, I specifically chose the IMB programme because of its practical use of real-life business projects, international nature and possible specialisation in finance.

What is your proudest achievement?

During high school, I was one of those kids who didn't listen. There was no clear picture of who I was and what I wanted. Due to this, I had to take some time to listen to myself and determine my goals. Therefore, my transformation is something I am proud of.

Which words describe you best?

Persistent, hard-working, ambitious, diligent, and trustworthy.

What is your life motto?

It is not particularly a motto, but I think all things in life should be in balance. I daily crave to create harmony between responsibilities and personal fulfilment.

What are your strengths?

My strengths are analytical skills, good time management, and fast learning, which were mainly developed at my audit job and during my undergraduate studies. Especially good time management was developed when I was studying while working.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

I heard it from the students of the previous generation. Moreover, their presence on the Financial Times ranking fascinates me.

Studying abroad is the first thing that springs to mind. Given that this occurred during a pandemic, for me it was not just an academic success but also a major personal accomplishment. Considering that I am a pretty outgoing person, I became used to spending time by myself when socializing was challenging. I ventured outside of my comfort zone and gained independence.

“I can't change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”

What is your proudest achievement?

My proudest achievement that is related to my career is Winning a Slovenian youth Start-up competition and being accepted to the Watson accelerator in Boulder. Besides that, my proudest achievement on a personal level is organizing Christmas dinners for families in need for two years in a row, where we organized a nice dinner, prepare gifts, and fun program. Altogether we helped and created better Christmas for 60 parents and kids.

Trust yourself that you can do it and get it.

Writing, organizing, leadership, enjoyment in teamwork, and being communicative.

What is your proudest achievement?

Even though I've been able to do quite a lot of things that I am proud of, such as product development for Semenarna Ljubljana, creating a marketing strategy with Rubikon Gral, being the head of marketing at Management Group Association, and many more, I think my biggest achievement is the project I did for one of the biggest Slovenian companies Mercator.

What is your life motto?

What are your strengths?

I believe that in life we always learn and improve and the way to do that is to acknowledge your weaknesses and strengths. One of my greatest strengths is that I am goal-oriented, motivated, and resourceful. I tend to find a solution to every problem that I face and sometimes I have to be patient and creative.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

Education is the passport to the future. I believe that a good education and real-life projects can be a great foundation for continuing in the business world and taking on more and more complex challenges and roles. In the undergraduate program, I studied Graphic Design, which I like very much, but through my experiences and various opportunities, I found my passion for Marketing.

What is your proudest achievement?

I would say that it is impossible to sum everything up in one sentence. My achievement that I am the most proud of is my capability of doing three student jobs and finishing my last year of bachelor's degree with high grades because this needs a lot of coordination and time organisation.

Optimistic, hard-working, extrovert, ambitious and passionate.

What is your life motto?

I have a life motto, which is slow goes a long way (počasi se daleč pride). Each day and each achievement is a step closer to my goals so slowly but confidently I know I will accomplish them.

What are your strengths?

My strength is that I am an extrovert person who is always optimistic for what the future holds. I consider myself an ambitious, organised, reliable, and highly driven person with strong leadership skills, work-related skills and work ethic. My academic path has given me the skills to be an effective communicator and also a problem solver. All this helps me to be a reliable team member because I am persistent and passionate about everything I do.

Getting my first employment where I wanted (at the time).

Interesting, fun, thoughtful, precise, self-demanding.

What is your life motto?

The most personal one is: "Life is a canvas, make it your masterpiece." It inspires me to try out new things and not be afraid of change. It also reminds me that I'm the author of all decisions I make in my everyday life. I believe I'm portraying that by being an authentic person, thinking for myself.

What are your strengths?

Persistence and dedication, the ability to learn complex concepts, having many interests, the ability to connect with people and collaborate.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

In the last few years, I developed an interest in business and economics. Recently, I decided to transfer from working in the public healthcare system to privately held companies. I see a major advantage in having better flexibility to change your work environment, as well as the flexibility to work in different roles and having more opportunities to progress career-wise.

What is your proudest achievement?

In the recent past I would highlight the successful completion and overcoming of countless problems during the final bachelors project. Looking back at high school years, I am proud of participating in different competitions from various fields, with winning of silver medal at Balkan Geography Olympiad being the most visible achievement.

Which words describe you best?

Curious, communicative, flexible, hard-working, humble.

What is your life motto?

My motto is "Strive for progress, not perfection". It is important to do what you believe in and to not be afraid of failure.

What are your strengths?

I think ambitiousness, persistence, and curiosity in combination with general humbleness and kindness form a unique combination I can leverage to my benefit. I am also hardworking and can work under pressure.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

When finishing the bachelor’s in electrical engineering I faced a dilemma whether to further specialize in engineering or broaden my horizon applying to a different master's program. I found IMB while searching through faculty's website and after studying the curriculum I knew it offers exactly what I am looking for.

MARK KLARIĆ

What is your proudest achievement?

When I came to the university, I was not especially determined since I have not yet realized how important a stage of my life I have entered. I also considered doing my first year again since I knew that I am capable of doing much more but decided not to and that this will be my turning point. With fresh ambitions came better results and also a love for the study.

Which words describe you best?

Determined, sociable, organized, precise and persistent.

What is your life motto?

The first is more related to my relationship with others: "Don’t do to others what you don’t want them to do to you". I show this in everyday life by having a lot of compassion and empathy towards others. The second one is more connected to my self-actualization as I already mentioned in one of the previous questions: "Nothing is given, everything is earned".

What are your strengths?

First of all, I am a very organized person. It bothers me a lot when things are not in order so I always make sure to arrange everything.

I decided to apply for this program after reading about it on the website but mostly after talking with students that attend or attended the program.

What is your proudest achievement?

Finishing at the top of my class in high school, organising bigger events that I am in charge of (Mafijski piknik, charity stand-up) and the fact that I will recieve a bachelor degree from one of the hardest courses of the University of Ljubljana.

Which words describe you best?

Competitive, thoughtful, reliable, analytical and versatile.

What is your life motto?

I do not have a life motto yet, however I aim to be the best I can be at everything I do. I build relationships, study the topic, work extra hours if that’s what I think will get me the wanted result.

What are your strengths?

I possess the ability to work in a team and make it better, I am analytical and communicative.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

I want to run a business, manage other people to achieve great results and I think the IMB programme is a great master’s degree to choose in order to get closer to my goal. I heard the programme is renowned and well respected among employers. I heard about it in my first year in university, when prof. dr. Domadenik told us about it and later on I did my own research.

What is your proudest achievement?

I am the proudest of the person that I have become how I am successfully balancing my studies, work, sports, and my free time. One of my biggest academic achievements is my research project, conducted at University of Lisbon, Faculty of Pharmacy and done extra to my studies. I am also proud of myself to have spent a part of my studies abroad in Belgium at KU Leuven at the Department of Pharmaceutical and Pharmacological Sciences.

What is your life motto?

Don’t give up and remember your why.

What are your strengths?

I am a good team worker, but I can also work on my own and use my initiative. I am very organized, disciplined and detail oriented. I have good social skills, as well as I love to communicate with people. I can adapt in different situations; I am a good listener and try to understand different points of view.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

I believe there is no better place to continue my academic career as this programme provides the skills in marketing, finance, management, and social skills that I can combine with the knowledge I have gained from my studies.

What is your proudest achievement?

Attending college and writing my bachelors thesis while working in automotive marketing, a job which I started in my 3rd year of college and still have. It really pushed my organisation, coordination and optimisation skills to the max.

Which words describe you best?

Practical, disciplined, ambitious, reliable, straightforward.

What is your life motto?

What do you know, you have to do and you are not doing it right now? This is something that I ask myself every day because I feel like it pushes me forward and is making me a better person. It is questioning my decisions and challenging me to do things that are making me better.

What are your strengths?

Organised, logical, ambitious, observant, accurate, strategic and versatile.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

I found out about the IMB programme while playing tennis with the former working student at BMW that started to work there after I finished. The programme seemed really interesting to me and so I did some research about it and I knew that this is something that I would really like to be a part of.

What is your proudest achievement?

I am proud of my achievement for being amongst the best 5% of the students in the generation in 2019/2020. In 2021 I Participated in the EIT Jumpstarter Bootcamp for start-ups. In 2022 we successfully launched our start-up Remea. I am also proud of joining CEEPUS and Erasmus Exchange programs in Prague and Istanbul for two semesters.

Which words describe you best?

Adherent, open-minded, social, ambitious and disciplined.

What is your life motto?

My life motto is 'Seek discomfort' as it helps me to get out of my comfort zone. Discipline and consistency are the most important things to achieving our goals.

What are your strengths?

My strengths are rationality, determination, strategically thinking, long-term focus, and drive to achieve the goals I have set for myself. I am also inspiring, flexible, and social which helps me in teamwork activities. I believe that nothing is impossible with a little hard work and help of the others.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

IMB could help me extend my knowledge in economics, but even more so it would help me meet people with the same ambitions as me. We would help each other on our way to conquering our dreams.

What is your proudest achievement?

In 2019, while studying, I started working as a freelancer as a Twitch/YouTube emote designer under a name: Eneyas and I got many different opportunities working with big names in the industry when it comes to digital art. I soon started making connections with people and this year I started an NFT project called Hoomans with the other 3 friends

Which words describe you best?

Motivated, organized, flexible, curious and daring.

What is your life motto?

I would say I live by a quote: However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do, and succeed at. It matters that you don't just give up. (Stephen Hawking).

What are your strengths?

Creativity, detail-oriented, trustworthy.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

I received recommendations through friends, whom I asked for a proposal regarding a quality master's degree. Reasons why I like this study program is mainly because it is focused on practical knowledge, teamwork and program being carried out in English language, which gives opportunities to meet people from other cultures and countries.

What is your proudest achievement?

I am proud of all of the success in the competitions where I participated. These include debate, maths, logical problems and sport achievements. I also take great pride in any of the work I did as a part-time manager (for a small business) and trader (this achievement would be measured financially).

Which words describe you best?

Honest, committed, decisive, open-minded and energetic.

What is your life motto?

My life motto is: "Never give up, stay consistent and be honest with yourself". I show it by never going back on my word, never giving anything less than a 100% when I take something to work on, and finally I think I always do the right thing instead of the easy one.

What are your strengths?

I think my greatest strength is that I am never giving up, with the power of strong will and determination. However, I consider my critical thinking and problem solving abilities to be very useful. And in social relationship skills I would include my sensitivity, understanding and tolerance.

What were the reasons for choosing the IMB?

I want to learn everything I can about running a business and managing an organization. I have many ideas I would like to try out one day and I think some advanced, modern, business and organisation-oriented course like IMB would give me a chance to get closer to that point. I found about it at the SEBLU and heard a many words of praise for the course.

There is a Russian quote that says “In order to live and rejoice, one needs only two things: firstly, to live, and secondly, to rejoice”. I appreciate my life and try to see positivity in every aspect of it, taking example from my grandmother. Such an attitude makes my life full and helps to avoid unnecessary stress.

My biggest achievement by now is my Bachelor's degree. I have started undergraduate studies in a different culture where I have integrated quickly. With my motivation, hard-working, ambition, and a lot of effort, I managed to complete all courses in the first term with good grades, which is a huge achievement for me.

What is your life motto?

Never stop daring is my motto because I strive for excellence in everyday life and I dream big. I am always ready for a new challenge starting from simple daily tasks (e.g. completing another mile) to big ones such as my career.

At this point in my life, I would say that my What is your proudest achievement? on professional level is getting my bachelor’s degree in three years, despite working part-time. On a personal level I am proud of the person I am becoming.

What is your life motto?

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” by hockiest Wayne Gretzky or in other words you can’t succeed if you don’t try. I believe that you should act towards your goals slowly but surely.

I am goal-oriented and when I set my mind to something I tend to accomplish it. Additionally, I am a quick learner with a strong desire to expand my knowledge. "You can achieve anything, if you put your mind to it."If I want something or to achieve something I do my best, fully concentrate on the matter in hand and fulfil my desire/goal. Same goes for regular work: as it is something that has to be done I carefully plan it to be done as best as it can be (sometimes I am a bit of a perfectionist) and also as soon as possible.

As I have studied International business at SEB LU I have good education background, so it seemed as a good next step. The course seems interesting and suitable for me as I also like challenges. Currently I am most proud of winning the Business Hive 2022 competition because it was something that my teammates and I wanted to do for a few year now and was also a self-motivating thing.

I do not have a motto per se, however, I try to always look on things from different points of view, so that I can understand them more thoroughly and more objectively. However, I also try to always stay positive and not concentrate on the negatives, meaning if I fail at something, I look at what went wrong but do not dwell on it and continue onwards with new knowledge and no bad feelings.

I would have to say that an achievement that I am maybe most proud of is finding a good life rhythm. I don't have a Motto, but I do have a rule that I try to stick to best as I can. Whenever something disturbs me I back off and give myself time to cool off and think if it trough. It has helped me greatly in professional and personal relationships and situations.

I believe communication and understanding of people are my biggest strengths. Good communication is key to building strong professional and personal relationships. I also find that knowing what people want or what bothers them helps greatly in relationships.

When faced with unforeseen and challenging circumstances in 2021, beyond the worsening impacts of the global Covid-19 pandemic, I took the decision to change my plans, and prioritise my family. I endeavoured to personally raise funds and manage a full renovation of my parents’ house, with limited existing resources and a tight six-week deadline in order to sell the house in time to take advantage of a stamp duty waiver policy.

What is your life motto?

What are your strengths?

Motivating people. Identifying their motivations and unique qualities and then empowering them to utilise these and helping them to see a brighter future for themselves. Leading people. I think I am most proud of the past semester that I have spent abroad on Erasmus exchange in Oslo, Norway, at BI Norwegian Business School. I was very happy to be accepted since the spots were limited and I was proud of myself for completing the tasks and obligations at the faculty with good results.

What is your life motto?

"Things can change for the better in a moment." Every time something "bad" or inconvenient happens to me, I always stop and say this to myself, because you never know what is waiting for you around the corner, something better is always coming your way.

What are your strengths?

I would say that one of my biggest strengths is the fact that I am a very open person. I am ready to gain new knowledge and skills, meet new people, learn new languages, in a word learn and experience as much as possible.

What is your proudest achievement?

The achievement that I am most proud of myself is that I chose to participate in Erasmus Exchange Programme in Berlin, Germany at Free University Berlin. Because of the outgoing pandemic, a lot of classes that were anticipated to execute in English, were not available. Therefore, I was “forced” to have my classes in German. My German at a time was at B2 level.

What is your life motto?

My life motto is that if you believe in yourself, you can do it. As hard as it may seem sometimes, all work is done for a reason. From my personal experience, when I am hiking and my legs are hurting, all the pain is swept away as I reach the top, rest there and enjoy the views.

What are your strengths?

My strengths are that I am a very stubborn person, and I don’t give up easily. I like to explore the things that interest me, and I am a good team worker. For example, in our bachelor studies, we had to do a lot of team projects on different topics.

proudest achievement is very difficult for me to pinpoint, but if I would have to choose one it would be ranking in the top 3 youth bowlers in Europe as well as the top 25 youth bowlers in the World in the 2017/2018 season.

What is your life motto?

My most recent and most influential life motto is from a book I got very recently from my girlfriend. The motto is that you need to improve yourself by just 1% each day and you can achieve a significant change.

What are your strengths?

I would consider one of my biggest strengths to be my motivation, I hardly ever find myself reluctant to start new things or finalize a project that I have been working on.
