UL SEB hosted the world's largest association of management researchers and practitioners

The School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, in collaboration with the Slovenian Academy of Management (SAM), hosted the leadership of the Academy of Management (AOM), the world's largest association of management researchers and practitioners.

The event, held on May 12-13, 2025, also featured representatives from academic associations from Croatia and Montenegro. This meeting represents a significant milestone in strengthening international research collaboration and integrating Slovenian researchers and doctoral students into the global academic community.

"By hosting this prestigious association, the School of Economics and Business reaffirms its commitment to fostering research excellence and strengthening international connections in management. This event marks an important step towards the further internationalization of Slovenian management research and enhancing collaboration with researchers from the Western Balkans region," emphasized SAM President and professor at SEB LU, Prof. Dr. Metka Tekavčič. A key achievement of this meeting is the inclusion of the Slovenian journal Dynamic Relationships Management Journal in the AOM's journal collection. Editor Prof. Dr. Matej Černe noted: "This will significantly enhance the professionalism and recognition of our journal."
