Visit of part-time students from the online programme in Business and Organisation

During the week from 13 May to 15 May, the 14th generation of students studying in the online graduate programme in Business and Organisation visited the School of Economics and Business (UL SEB).
The students were initially welcomed by the Dean, Prof. Tomaž Turk, and Prof. Metka Tekavčič, Head of the programme Business and Organisation. The meeting with the students was also attended by Prof. Polona Domadenik Muren, Vice-Dean for Research and Doctoral Studies, Prof. Mojmir Mrak, Prof. Maja Zalaznik, Prof. Matej Lahovnik, Prof. Miha Škerlavaj, Prof. Sandra Penger, Assoc. Prof. Mojca Marc, Assoc. Prof. Marko Jakšič, and Vid Gojković, president of the Student Council of UL SEB, who presented the experience of studying at the UL SEB.
By visiting the UL SEB, the students, after more than a year of online studies, personally met with their professors and potential mentors for their master's thesis. During the visit to the UL SEB, students attended lectures on the optional course Digital Economics, which were delivery by Prof. Peter Trkman and Asst. Prof. Luka Tomat. The program of the students' visit also included a presentation of the Central Economic Library (CEK) and the use of a rich set of e-resources, the presentation was delivery by Lidija Mancini Bolka. Prof. Matej Černe gave the students instructions for writing their master's thesis and answered their questions.
The students also visited the company Riko d.o.o., owned by the President of the Alumni SEB, Mr. Janez Škrabec, where they were presented with the company's operations in the international environment and its sustainable orientation.
