A New IMB Generation Begins Its Journey
Every autumn, something special happens at the International Master’s Programme in Business and Organisation (IMB) at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana – a new story begins. This year, the 33rd Generation has arrived, bringing together 42 ambitious students from 11 countries across Europe and beyond.
The new cohort was officially welcomed by the Programme Director, prof. dr. Polona Domadenik Muren, who outlined the challenges and opportunities that await them in the year ahead. The students also met the IMB Team and had the chance to connect with Domen Arne Jelovčan, President of the IMB Alumni Association, who presented the Alumni network and shared valuable advice for the future. He reminded the students that IMB may be demanding, but it offers countless opportunities for growth; that the strength of their network will be one of their most important assets; and that respect for others is essential in building lasting professional and personal relationships.
To encourage collaboration and create a strong sense of community from the outset, the students also took part in an interactive activity where they got to know each other better. This first step in building connections sets the foundation for friendships and networks that will support them throughout the programme and beyond.
With the stage now set, the 33rd IMB is now ready for the new academic year.
