We were delighted to welcome our alumnus Uroš Ivanc, CFA, Member of the Management Board and CFO of Triglav Group, as a guest lecturer in the Financial Management course.

In his lecture, he explored the role of dividend policy in corporate finance, highlighting its importance for company value, shareholder preferences and market signaling, as well as the practical factors shaping dividend decisions, including investment opportunities, earnings volatility, capital adequacy, and regulatory constraints. He further illustrated these concepts with real-world examples, including the application of Triglav Group’s dividend policy in practice.

In addition to the core topic, he shared insights into his professional background and career path, offering valuable inspiration to students.
