From Vision to Innovation: Students Visit Tenzor Group
The IMB students recently visited Tenzor Group, where they were welcomed by our alumnus and the CEO of the compnay, Miha Senčar.
Tenzor Group is a family-owned company specializing in advanced integrated solutions in the fields of security systems for the protection of people and property, traffic management, building automation and central control systems, hospitality management systems, as well as business intelligence and advanced technological solutions.
During the presentation, Miha emphasized that one of the company’s next strategic steps will be a stronger focus on developing its own brands. He also provided insight into the company culture and the importance of teamwork within the organization, whose employees are proudly referred to as “Tenzorians.”
An especially valuable part of the discussion focused on the company’s approach to growth and decision-making. Miha described how Tenzor Group has, throughout its development, occasionally taken what he called “leaps of calculated faith” — carefully considered yet ambitious decisions that have enabled the company to continue progressing and expanding into new areas.
Among the important milestones highlighted during the visit was the company’s first tunnel project in 2008, which represented a significant step in its development. Students also had the opportunity to learn more about several of the company’s systems and integrations, including Biblio Verse, Aura, Cops System, and Urban Informatics.
The visit also closely connected with the students’ project on investments in fixed and intangible capital, offering a valuable opportunity to observe investment strategies, business models, and capital allocation decisions first-hand within a rapidly growing technology company.
We sincerely thank Miha Senčar and the entire Tenzor Group team for their warm welcome and for sharing their experience, knowledge, and vision for the future
