Sneha
Master's Student in Sustainable Tourism Management
I come from: Nepal
Languages: Nepali, English
Hi, I’m a Nepali girl navigating through one of the most beautiful cities in Slovenia while pursuing the degree I love the most, Sustainable Tourism Management. I love nature, hiking, and exploring beautiful places, so I truly believe I landed in the right spot.
At university, I’m fortunate to have wonderful and supportive professors who make my studies even more meaningful. Through this journey, I feel like I’m not just studying sustainable tourism but also living my dream of traveling, exploring new places, and learning about different cultures.
Applying for my master’s degree in Slovenia as a non-EU student was challenging. I never doubted the university’s efforts, but I often wished I had someone who had been in the same shoes as me. Now, you have me!
I’m happy to share what I’ve learned and hopefully make someone else’s journey a little easier. Feel free to email me at ulseb.ambassadors@ef.uni-lj.si with the subject line "Question for Sneha".

Hello! My name is Una Lajić, I am from Serbia, currently in the first year of my Master’s degree in Marketing at the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, after having completed my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing at the same faculty. Furthermore, my active involvement at the faculty so far has included continuous participation in short-form videos showcasing UL SEB, promoting and documenting more than 100 events held at the faculty over the past three years; actively participating as a speaker on an annual basis in faculty presentations during Open Days in February, as well as welcoming and introducing students at the beginning of their studies during Welcome Days, held every year in late September and early October.
In addition to my involvement at UL SEB, I have been an International Student Ambassador for the University of Ljubljana for the past two and a half years, actively participating in all activities and initiatives carried out as part of this role.

Tajda
Bachelor's Student in Entrepreneurship (2nd year)
I come from: Slovenia
Languages: English. Italian and Slovenian
Above all, my study experience at the SEB LU gave me a lot of knowledge and professional competencies, which I can now also connect with practical situations. Apart from the study itself, the people I met, the different projects and opportunities I got over the years meant a lot to me. I also had a very positive experience with the teaching staff, mainly because of their flexibility and willingness to understand the different situations of students. In my opinion, it was this attitude of professors and other employees that significantly contributed to the fact that I felt good at the faculty and was able to get as much as possible out of my studies. In addition to knowledge, the UL SEB has also given me a lot of practical experience, new acquaintances, and opportunities for personal development. Looking back, I would describe my study experience as a very holistic and important preparation for a further career path. Feel free to email me at ulseb.ambassadors@ef.uni-lj.si with the subject line "Question for Tajda".
