Outgoing students
UL SEB is well integrated into the international environment and has links with the best universities in Europe and the world. Studying abroad is a great opportunity to learn about other cultures and make new friends. At the same time, the experiences and skills you gain will boost your confidence and independence and prepare you for life in a global world.

Study exchange
UL SEB students can spend a semester or a whole year abroad as exchange students at one of the UL SEB partner institutions, where they are exempt from tuition fees.
ERASMUS+ study exchange is possible at partner institutions in the EU and are limited to a minimum of two and a maximum of 12 months at each study level. The Erasmus+ grant is intended to cover accommodation and travel costs.
BILATERAL study exchange is possible at partner institutions outside the EU.
CEEPUS study exchange is possible in the countries and partner institutions that belong to the CEEPUS network (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Montenegro, Poland, Slovakia and Serbia). CEEPUS funding is provided by the member states in the form of scholarships and accommodation for international students.
Students can only apply for a study exchange if they are enrolled in one of UL SEB's degree programmes.

Double degree
In a double degree programme, two university degrees are obtained in parallel at two internationally recognised institutions and completed in the time required for one degree. Credits earned at both institutions are mutually recognised, resulting in a reduction in study time compared to earning two separate degrees.
A double degree is not an independent degree programme. Students must be enrolled in one of UL SEB's degree programmes before they can apply for a double degree within that programme.

Short programmes
If you are not sure whether you want to participate in a study exchange, you can opt for a shorter mobility and participate in winter or summer schools organised by UL SEB partner institutions. In most cases, these programmes are fee-based, but many institutions offer special discounts for UL students.
You can also take part in one of the international short programmes organised at UL SEB.
