Law of Markets anf Trade (MASTER)
Goals
The course offers students a practical insight into the rules of the game that market participants must follow when entering the market, advertising, concluding contracts, and dealing with consumers – both in the physical and digital environment.
The objective of the course is for students to:
• understand the legal boundaries of permissible market conduct, including competition law, media law, data protection law, and related areas;
• become familiar with key legal mechanisms for protecting business interests, such as intellectual property rights, copyright, and trade secrets;
• acquire concrete knowledge that can be directly applied in business management, marketing, sales, procurement, and related fields;
• gain a clear understanding of consumer rights and business obligations, including handling complaints, drafting general terms and conditions, and informing consumers;
• learn how to act during regulatory inspections and how to safeguard the company’s interests in oversight procedures.
