My school will not issue the final certificate before August. Will I miss the deadline for sending the documents?

Foreign citizens from non-EU countries and Slovenians without Slovenian citizenship with secondary school

abroad

must submit all supporting documents indicating the fulfilment of enrolment by August 1, 2024 at the latest. Applicants whose final certificate will be issued after August 1, 2024 and whose decision on the recognition of the education will be issued by August 23, 2024 will also be included in the selection procedure.

Applicants who have already completed secondary education at the time of application and who already have final certificate(s) must submit it via the eVŠ portal by the end of the application period, by April 19, 2024.

Citizens of the Republic of Slovenia who completed their secondary education abroad and citizens of EU Member States:

• First deadline:

  Candidates who finish secondary school abroad must submit all the necessary documents by August 1, 2024 at the latest. Candidates should send the required documents as soon as possible because the procedure of the recognition of foreign education can last up to two months from the day of submitting a complete application.

• Second deadline:

  Candidates must submit all the supporting documents during the Second Application Period (by August, 27 2024 at the latest) by registered post to the respectful Higher Education Application and Information Service.

• Deadline for filling still available enrolment slots:

  candidates must submit all the supporting documents with a printed and signed application during the Application Period (from September 25, 2024 to 10 AM CET on September 26, 2024) by registered post to the faculty or academy.

It is important that candidates submit their applications on time and inform the Higher Education Application and Information Service that their school will issue their final graduation certificate at a later date.
