On May 6, 2025, the School of Economics and Business at the University of Ljubljana hosted Professor Daniela Garbin Praničević from the University of Split, Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism.

A selection of older duplicate books from the CEK Library collection is now available free of charge.

We are pleased to inform you that staff and students of the University of Ljubljana now have permanent access to 55 newly selected eBooks from the publisher De Gruyter.

From April 7 to 9, 2025, the AACSB International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM) took place in Vienna, attended by Professor Dr. Tomaž Turk, Dean of the School of Economics and Business, University of Ljubljana, and Professor Dr. Barbara Čater, the school’s AACSB accreditation project lead.

We were pleased to welcome back Maja Brelih Lotrič, CEO of Lotrič Metrology Ltd., to the IMB programme for an engaging Alumni Talk.

We had the honour of welcoming Mr Blaž Brodnjak, Chief Executive Officer of NLB, as a guest speaker at the International Master Programme in Business and Organisation (IMB).

Gregor Novak, MSc, an entrepreneur, was a guest speaker at a lecture by Prof. Dr. Boštjan Antončič for the Entrepreneurship course in the international undergraduate program on April 16, 2025.

The CEK Library has changed opening hours during the upcoming holidays.

A presentation on the development of Slovenian and global footgolf for Slovenian and international students took place in April 2025 as part of the project Entrepreneurial Knowledge for Growth for "Problem-Based Learning of Students in the Workplace", in which students, the Slovenian Footgolf Association and Prof. Dr. Boštjan Antončič participate.

Lana Rakovec, a member of the 31st Generation of the International Master Programme in Business and Organisation (IMB), UL SEB, has demonstrated how fitness and music can be transformed into a brilliant business idea.

From 8 to 11 April, the School of Economics and Business is proud to host International Staff Week 2025, which was organised in collaboration between the International Relations Office and the Quality Assurance Office.
