Candidates for enrolment who have not finished secondary school at the time of application should send only the e-application for enrolment by the deadline.
Candidates who have finished secondary school abroad must send:
1. An electronic copy or photograph of the document(s) certifying the completion of education abroad for which the candidate wishes to be considered in the application and admission procedure, without legal certification. The authenticity of the copy of the educational certificate will be verified by the higher education institution with the issuer of the original document. If the higher education institution is unable to confirm the authenticity of the educational certificate, candidates will be asked to send the original document(s) showing that they have completed their education abroad, which must be legally certified in accordance with the rules and regulations of the country of origin.

Legal certification is not required: Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Hungary, Romania, North Macedonia, and Serbia.

Legal certification under the Act on the Verification of Documents in International Traffic: all other countries. Under the Act, the educational certificate is verified in accordance with the rules of the foreign country, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The stamp and signature of the authorised person of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the foreign country must then be verified by the diplomatic or consular mission of the Republic of Slovenia in the foreign country, which is accredited for that country or by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.
2. An electronic copy or photograph of a court-certified translation into Slovenian or English of the educational certificate referred to in point 1. If the candidate is required to provide a translation of the educational certificate, they will be asked to do so at a later date via the eVŠ portal.
3. An electronic copy or photograph of the supporting document(s) proving the content and duration of education and the obligations fulfilled during the course of the education. If the candidate is required to provide a translation of the supporting document(s), they will be asked to do so at a later date via the eVŠ portal.
4. An electronic copy or photograph of a brief chronological record of the education relevant to the application procedure for enrolment and recognition of foreign education. This should include a few sentences on the candidate’s previous education, indicating the years of their education.
