Study Contributions

Study contributions for the 2026/2027 academic year will be paid by each student in the amount of €61.60.

Tuition Fee for the Academic Year 2026/2027

Full-time study:

The tuition fee for full-time study is €4,700 per academic year.

Students do not pay tuition fees for full-time study unless they do not fulfil certain conditions (see below).

Tuition fee is paid by:

Slovenian citizens and citizens of EU Member States or countries with which Slovenia has a bilateral agreement (reciprocity principle) pay tuition fees for full-time studies:

if they have already obtained at least the equivalent level of education,

if, when they change their programme of study, they enrol in the same or a lower year of study and have previously benefited from the right to repeat a year or to change their programme of study at the same level of study,
if they re-enrol in the same programme or course of study from which they have previously withdrawn.

Foreign citizens pay tuition fees for full-time studies:

if they come from non-EU countries or countries with which Slovenia has not signed a bilateral agreement (reciprocity principle),

if they have not completed secondary education in Slovenia and passed the General Matura exam (GM) in accordance with the Law on higher education (ZViS),

if they do not have permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia and are not themselves or at least one of their parents or guardians resident in the Republic of Slovenia for tax purposes by the time the selection procedure starts.

The paid tuition fee for full-time studies is valid for one academic year. Students who regularly advance to a higher academic year have the right to study and complete their studies under the conditions, including tuition fees, applicable at the time of admission.

Part-time study:

The tuition fee for part-time study is €3,800 per academic year.

All part-time students pay the tuition fee.

Methods of tuition fee payment:

5% discount when paid in full before enrolment, or

in 3 instalments (55% prior to enrolment, 30% the end of February 2026 and 15% by the end of April 2026).

The paid tuition fee for part-time studies is valid for one academic year. Students who regularly advance to a higher academic year have the right to study and complete their studies under the conditions, including tuition fees, applicable at the time of admission.

A student who enrols in the English track of the master’s study programme which is provided only as full-time study pays the tuition fee in the amount and in the manner applicable to full-time study, irrespective of which type of study they are enrolled in.
