Sport and Media (MASTER)
Goals
To enable students:
- to understand the fundamental relationship between sports and media, as well as key research topics in this field,
- to understand different types of media and their role in sport and sport organizations,
- to understand the basic characteristics of sports journalism,
- to understand the significance of media representations of sport,
- to use media strategies in sport and sport organizations,
- to conceptualize and resolve issues in formation and execution of media strategies,
- for teamwork and to use the acquired knowledge to solve concrete problems.

Sports in traditional media, new media, social media, and user-generated content
Sports journalism
Media representation of sport (meanings, ideological themes, gender representation)
Media and disability sport
Digital media and marketing communications in sports
Creating media content for the sport industry
